The 2025–2026 high school season had many prospects in the 2028 class rise to the occasion for their respective teams. In this article, I feature five crafty and skilled guards who can fill it up on offense or get back and lock in on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2819215' first='Anthony' last='Martinez'] earned a boost in the new rankings and now sits at #32. He had a strong year for the Foothill Falcons, running the show with confidence. He leveraged his tight handle to elude defenders when bringing the ball up the court and did a solid job of setting his teammates up for easy buckets on a regular basis. His accuracy from long range was also a huge asset for the Falcons, and he knocked down some big-time shots for them.

[player_tooltip player_id='2477814' first='Wake' last='Rolwing'] leaps up to #41 from #50. He led the entire state in 3-pointers made this past season with 96. I was able to attend a few Green Valley Christian games, and it was evident that he knows how to hunt shots from beyond the arc. He has a quick release, and the basket seems to get bigger for him after he sees one or two triples go in. Rolwing is also capable of facilitating the offense due to the attention he draws. As a defender, he utilizes his ball-hawking skills to intercept passes and can push the floor from there.

[player_tooltip player_id='2819205' first='Graceson' last='Snow'] bumps up to #47 from #43. He was a rotational player for the 5A State Champion Coronado Cougars and played quality minutes when his number was called. On offense, he capitalized on catch-and-shoot opportunities from three-point range and occasionally handled the rock. On defense, he utilized his lateral quickness to keep his matchup in front of him.

[player_tooltip player_id='3199636' first='Noah' last='Lund'] has claimed the #50 spot after impressing throughout the winter. The crafty Boulder City guard is a quality shooter from the perimeter and can knock down jumpers as well. He also uses his IQ to be in the right place at the right time and can score inside when he catches the defense sleeping. All in all, he's got some real scoring ability, and it'll be interesting to see how he continues to develop his game this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='3198523' first='Kason' last='Turner'] was a playmaker this past season playing PG. He navigated defensive pressure when operating, and made smart passes to his fellow shooters, or big men ([player_tooltip player_id='2280933' first='Levi' last='Randall'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2263758' first='Branch' last='Danko']). Turner also helped stretch the floor with his 3 point shot, connecting on 36% of his attempts. Look for him to continue to expand his game this spring/summer.
