gets it done on offense with his long strides, footwork, and touch. He can attack a sliver of space and score, or play off two feet and wait for the right moment to get his shot up. Danko’s IQ and instincts also get him to the free throw line, where he can sink them. As a defender, Danko competes and will fight for rebounds too. He consistently brings energy on both ends and looks to make the most of his opportunities.

is a patient offensive player who rarely rushes decisions with the ball. He uses his court vision to identify gaps in the defense and is quick to capitalize when a window opens. While also finding teammates for quality looks. Beyond his scoring and facilitating, Danko gathered one rebound after another for the Eagles. Finishing the game with a double-double.

has moved into the top 40 and sits at #39. He is the type of player that doesn’t take possessions off and will go hard all 4 quarters. His top skills on offense are driving to the rack and scoring inside. On the other end of the court, his top defensive skills are altering shots and battling for boards.

‘s effort and scoring stood out last Tuesday. On defense, he is constantly hustling and looks to bring down rebounds. On offense, he attacks the basket using big strides and his frame. He can also make shots through contact. Look for him to take on a much bigger role at Boulder City now that a few of their scoring leaders from last year (Sean Pendleton and Luke Wright) have graduated.

Tall and athletic forward who can impact the game by rebounding the ball and on defense. I’m looking forward to how his game develops this year.

Bit of a reach maybe, but Danko plays with such a high motor that he’s going to crash the glass. He has size and is bouncy. In normal times playing in 3A would give him the opportunity to inflate his rebounding stats, but this isn’t a normal 3A. He’ll have to battle with some bigger teams, but he’s athletic enough to be a consistent Glass Cleaner this season.

Boulder City is on the hunt for a state title in 24- 25 and the development of young players like Danko will be key. I caught a glimpse of him during the GV Christian Summer League, and anyone getting a glimpse of him this weekend will see, a long rangy athlete that plays with a high motor.

Technically not the first time I’ve seen Danko, but it definitely was the first time I’ve seen him like this. The bouncy, incoming sophomore played with a ton of energy, displaying good R&J athleticism in the process.
