Zion blew out Providence Day. Mt. Zion guard [player_tooltip player_id='2450393' first='Angel' last='Long'] had a very impressive showing. Angel is a terrific shooter, and he showed that this game by knocking down 5 threes. Angel has a lightning-fast release and good range. He finished with 19 points to cap off Mt. He had another big game for Mt. Zion, hitting some tough mid-rangers and knocking down a few threes. I've seen the entire arsenal from Shane this weekend, scoring at all three levels. O'Connell struggled offensively yesterday. They have a handful of new players, and things do not seem to be clicking. They took on one of the best teams at this event in Highland. They fought back into this game and won a nail-biter. Alexandria City transfer [player_tooltip player_id='2252287' first='Darius' last='Bivins'] impressed me a lot. Darius is always one of my favorite players to watch. He's a pest on defense and has a deep bag on offense. Darius had some tough finishes, and for a guy who is one of the smallest on the court, he always does well finishing over size. He has finished through contact all weekend and is a complete offensive player. He shot the ball well today and was great as a facilitator. In Mt. Zion Prep's win over Combine Academy, Chris had a monster game. In both games Flint Hill has played at DMVlive, Jack hasn't shot the three that well, but he has made himself more than useful. He moves without the ball well and has nice size for CG. He had a handful of excellent takes, including the game-winning bucket. Kobe finished through traffic and saw himself at the line a lot in the second half. He had a great first half against 1 of 1 Academy in their first game. Connor can shoot the ball at a high level, and he showed that in this half. I already talked about what I love about Connor as a shooter yesterday with his size. He struggled in the second half like the whole STAB team did but still ended with 20 points on 5/11 from three. Conor put on an absolute show later in the day against Mt. St. Joseph, hitting 9 of his 17 three-point attempts.
