The only Spring Live Period brought out dozens of college coaches to Cincinnati, Ohio for the Under Armour Circuit. While the college coaches were mostly focused on 17 U teams, I caught a couple Ohio and Kentucky 15 U teams this weekend and want to spotlight five standouts in this article.

I wanted to first spotlight Wade who came out aggressive offensively. Attacking closeouts with a quick first step, Thurman hit floaters and reverse layups at the rim. Knocking down a couple time and space 3-pointers, Thurman is a wing who wants to get downhill but can also make open shots if left alone. With his athleticism, burst and ability to score at the rim, Thurman is a productive wing at the 15 U level with a decent amount of upside down the road from a Woodford County program that has a history of producing top talent from central KY.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1745591"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"I thought Turner showed a high feel for the game with nice passes from the wing to set up his teammates. Playing off two feet allows young players to avoid turnovers and Turner usually played off two feet in the paint. Making the extra pass can open the floor up so much for a team and Turner had a couple assists where the extra pass turned a good look into a great look. Combine this passing with the perimeter shot making of Turner and he is a solid offensive prospect. A name to know as we continue to get familiar with Kentucky's 2027 class.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2122438"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"A notable name from Kentucky's 2027 class, Gay has been a known prospect for a while now. An impressive athlete who rebounds it well for his position and uses his size and length to get extra offensive possessions. Scoring in the paint whether it was off second chance points, post up buckets and slashes to the rim, Gay was tough to stop within five feet. Defensively, Gay blocked a couple shots and covers a lot of ground on that end of the court. One of the more productive guys in Kentucky's 2027 class, Gay is well on his way to becoming a household name across the Bluegrass.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["2288542"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"OBC 15 U had a lot of guard talent so it was tough to pick a standout performer but I went with [player_tooltip player_id='2288542' first='Tyson' last='Clay'] who played with a sense of urgency on the court. It's much easier to score in transition than in the half court at the 15 U level and Clay was making sure OBC was running every chance they got. Clay had a handful of assists with drives to the paint where the defense would collapse and he'd kick to a shooter or hit a big on the block. Defensively despite being undersized, Clay has active hands and forced some turnovers on Saturday.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["2194389"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Nova Village is a program to watch in Central Ohio every year and their 15 U group has some talent we'll be covering a lot more throughout the next few years. Starting with Cornett, he appears to have the most long-term potential on the team while also being one of the most productive players right now. With a developing body, Cornett is still growing into his frame and body. A guard who played with good pace, Cornett didn't force the issue and usually played off two feet. Also scoring on drives with layups and floaters, Cornett showed me some offensive ability. Westerville North has a lot of guard talent in their program and 2027 duo of Cornett and [player_tooltip player_id='2140886' first='Tyson' last='Perkins'] are next in line to follow in the footsteps of [player_tooltip player_id='1480850' first='Tai' last='Perkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1432010' first='Micah' last='Young'].","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664a709728bd1"} /-->
