The OHSAA basketball season is about a month complete and in this article we'll break down the top teams in Division VI.

1. Tri Village (6-0)

A win over Jonathan Alder impressed me as I was on hand for that game at Holiday Hoopla. Our number one team in the preseason rankings continues to impress.

2. Colonel Crawford (3-0)

With no marquee games just yet, Colonel Crawford does move up one spot before a massive showdown with Margaretta on Monday.

3. Patrick Henry (7-0)

A team that's been so consistent over the past few seasons, a 7-0 is nothing to be surprised by as a win over Napoleon stands out so far.

4. Maumee Valley Country Day (7-0)

A team that's really impressed to open the season, the Hawks just took down Liberty Center in a tight contest before Christmas.

5. Berlin Hiland (4-2)

A tough schedule saw the Hawks drop some early games but this program has winning in their DNA and should rack up the wins in 2026.

6. Smithville (7-0)

The Smithies started in our top 10 and are unbeaten, helping them move up a few spots. A win over Grand Valley could be a postseason preview.

7. Monroe Central (7-0)

The defending state champs are unbeaten and have a massive pair of games Vs Wheeling Park and Wheeling Central Catholic in January.

8. Andrews Osborne Academy (2-2)

One of the most talented teams in Division VI, I still think this team has what it takes to win a regional title despite a slow start to the season.

9. Van Wert Lincolnview (6-1)

A win over Lima Central Catholic put the state on notice but a loss At Ada the next night prevents Lincolnview from climbing any more.

10. Lima Central Catholic (4-3)

One of the weirder teams to get a pulse on this season, the T-Birds have beat Lima Shawnee and Spencerville but already have three losses on the season.

Watchlist (By Region)

Kirtland (4-0)

Ada (6-2)

Evergreen (4-1)

Spencerville (6-1)

Lucasville Valley (5-0)

Caldwell (7-0)

Marion Local (3-0)

Troy Christian (7-0)

Allen East (6-0)

Cincinnati Deer Park (3-1)
