Banks Skies High Leading Illinois Central 17U Past Illinois Prestige

We opened the day with [program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite'] taking on Illinois Prestige. [program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite'] took control early and rolled to a 77-53 victory. [player_tooltip player_id='2412774' first='Warren' last=''] 2025 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2291830' first='Javerion' last='Banks'] had a big game with 20 points. Big time athlete on the wing that plays above the rim with ferocity along with being able to knock down pull ups from two and three. His [player_tooltip player_id='2412774' first='Warren' last=''] teammate 2026 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2437519' first='Braylon' last='Walker'] put himself on our radar with a strong performance. He had 15 points as the projectable wing poured in feathery jumpers. Two other prospects to track on this team in [player_tooltip player_id='2437318' first='Marko' last='Arnautovic'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2437117' first='Adrian' last='Serrano']. Arnautovic is a well built steaky shooter that when he gets going can do damage! Serrano is a 2026 strong and stocky undersized wing that used his strength to score on the interior. Waukegan 2026 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1552444' first='Carter' last='Newsome'] was excellent with his pinpoint passing all game long setting others up! Maybe the highest ceiling prospect is long and lanky [player_tooltip player_id='2437093' first='Rashad' last='Crowder'] from Wisconsin. The 6'5” wing hit a corner three and showed some passing feel.

Illinois Prestige is mostly comprised of 2024 unsigned seniors. Glenbard North power wing [player_tooltip player_id='2409758' first='Jeremiah' last='Raggs'] brought the energy in this one. He was a monster on the offensive glass for put backs, scoring junk points around the hoop, and playing with a ton of physicality to compliment his high-motor. [player_tooltip player_id='2409482' first='Timothy' last='Morris'] of Glenbard West was his running mate in this one scoring on straight line takes and sweeping layups.

SEMO United 15U Balance Takes Over in Second Half vs [program_tooltip program_id='2075532' first='Illinois' last='Bears']

This was a fun 15U contest! SEMO United out of Missouri scored a win against the [program_tooltip program_id='2075532' first='Illinois' last='Bears'] Haar squad 54-49. [player_tooltip player_id='2383806' first='Ty'riquis' last='Campbell'] flipped the script in this game. The athletic and strong guard turned up the intensity on the defensive end and that helped carry his team to the win. Pushed off his steals and showed quickness with the rock in his hands. Brennan Meoloy is a 6'2” guard from Bunker High School that knocked in some jumpers and had a knack for scoring in the lane. Ledon Webb drained a pair of threes. [player_tooltip player_id='2383811' first='Nicolai' last='Sohahong-Kombet'] from Poplar Bluff is a 6'3” wing oozing with upside with his frame and ability to slash!

Trenton Wesclin scoring combo [player_tooltip player_id='2383992' first='Bryce' last='Haar'] had it working in the first half. He started off dropping three triples early in the first half. Plus shot maker that mixes in some soft touch finishes on occasion as he had 17 points. Waltonville 6'5” 2027 post [player_tooltip player_id='2383402' first='Jagger' last='Mayville'] has some projectability along with skill which was shown with his low post scoring netting 8 points.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Black 16U Backcourt Puts on Clinic in Win against [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons']

In the [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Black 16U 83-73 victory against the [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] on Saturday morning it was all about their guard play! Carmel 2026 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1552461' first='Ethan' last='Matz'] had a big performance for 18 points. The 6'2” wing is a plus shooter from three that also is a solid passer. Hersey sharp shooter [player_tooltip player_id='2416503' first='Charlie' last='Pomis'] matched his teammate scoring 24 points in the win. Plus three point marksmen that scored on nifty layups and some transition buckets as well.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] were led by Lincoln Park duo Ahmad [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] and [player_tooltip player_id='2400893' first='Larry' last='Harris']. [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] is a projectable two guard that scored 24 points in the loss. Fluid and rangy wing that brings athleticism in the open floor, shot making, and flashes as a secondary passer. Harris is a wing but plays as the Demons primary big man on this squad. He can do that at his size because of his elite athleticism. Strong bodied wing that has a relentless motor! Rebounds at a high level and finishes well in traffic. Went for 24 points as well. Argo 2026 shooting guard Darrion Greer is a 6'4” wing that has some upside with his athleticism and burst with the ball in his hands.

Tisch Drops 29 Points in M14 National 2 17U Victory

St. Charles East 6'3” wing Samuel Tisch got whatever he wanted in their 11:15 AM game against All-In Mitchem scoring 29 points leading his team to a 70-41 win. He was aggressive from the jump scoring downhill. Euro steps, and-1s, and the lefty also got loose in transition where he was very effective. Crisp ball handler and finishes well in traffic. His high school teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2423490' first='Gavin' last='Szerlong'] is a 6'1” two guard that can really knock down shots as he had 14 points including three triples. An intriguing big to track is Lyons 6'7” post [player_tooltip player_id='2408038' first='Luca' last='Bade']. Legit size, rim runs, rebounds in his area, and hit a three from the top of the key for 9 points and 13 boards.

Standout for All-In Athletics Mitchem was Stevenson 5'9” point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2405860' first='Tre' last='Pearson']. The lead guard is shifty with it in his hands, good passer, and can hit an open shot.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076029' first='Wisconsin' last='Crusaders'] 17U Top North Dakota Phenom 63-62 in Game of Day

This contest had probably the most talent on the floor as a group of any two teams all day. [program_tooltip program_id='2076029' first='Wisconsin' last='Crusaders'] won narrowly over North Dakota Phenom by a final score of 63-62. [player_tooltip player_id='1289073' first='Keegan' last='Van Kauwenberg'] is a favorite of mine. The [program_tooltip program_id='2076029' first='Wisconsin' last='Crusaders'] wing is a plus shooter with a feathery stroke from three, but he has more in the bag than just that as he scored on baseline takes and sweeping layups notching 19 points in the win. [player_tooltip player_id='2272014' first='Logan' last='Steffensmeier'] was outstanding for the Crusaders. Big man that posts up scrong and scores down low. It was his defense against a like size post that caught our attention as he swatted several shots. Good athlete that had a strong day! Point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1418511' first='Drew' last='Daoust'] is a floor general that sets others up while being crafty as a scorer around the hoop along with draining jumpers as he had 14 points.

Parker Falcon shot lights out for North Dakota Phenom. He had 17 points with most of them coming via the long ball. Plus shooter from three with a clean stroke. His point guard Andre Austin caught my attention with the way he ran the show. Plays with good pace and diced up the defense with his passing in both the half court and transition. Also got in the teeth of the defense for several finishes. His running mate in the backcourt Drew Kempel is a combo to track with his ability to put pressure on the rim with his creative handles and scoring in numerous ways in the paint. He had 12 points. From an athletic standpoint the prospect that jumped off the floor was 6'8” Karson Ouse who had several hook shots, got on the glass for put backs, and a seal for monster jam!

Versatile Wings Show Upside in Big 3 Hudson 17U Win against [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons']

Big 3 Hudson got a 50-40 victory over the [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] on Saturday afternoon in 17U play. Hersey 6'8” power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2381432' first='Joseph' last='Brown'] is one to track. The size, length, and athleticism really pop. Scored on post ups, works well in ball screens, and displayed burst with the ball. Glenbard West forward [player_tooltip player_id='2389800' first='Logan' last='Glover'] is another to track with his high-motor, athleticism, and nose for the ball. The 2025 always seems to be in the right spot to make a play!

Top performer for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] was Perspective Math and Science 6'4” small forward [player_tooltip player_id='2424664' first='Javion' last='Thompson']. Good size on the wing and is an iso scorer.

Felton Emerges in Breakout Performance for 1 Dream vs [program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown']

Last week we saw one prospect breakout for 1 Dream 17U and this week it was another. [player_tooltip player_id='1598786' first='Willie' last='Felton'] from Bishop MacNamara was outstanding in their 54-42 win against [program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown']. The 2025 point guard stands at about 6'1” with plus athleticism and handles. Broke down the defense all game long scoring in the paint and was a crisp passer. Scorer that also has some playmaking feel. [player_tooltip player_id='1874752' first='Kenaz' last='Jackson'] of Kankakee is a 2026 to track with his feathery shooting touch from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='2432726' first='Dillon' last='Dell'] was the standout for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'] squad. Plus shooter from three that drained a plethora of them in the defeat.

Flowers Continues to Shine This Weekend for Illinois Stars 16U

The Illinois Stars captured a 66-46 win on Saturday against [program_tooltip program_id='2076378' first='Old' last='Gold'] in their 16U contest. Hinsdale South shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2323275' first='Adam' last='Flowers'] continues to emerge this weekend. The long and athletic shooting guard was excellent once again with his fluid slashing off the bounce and array of finishing moves with acrobatics at the rim. Also hit a tough fadeaway three to close out his evening! Minooka point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2454180' first='Brady' last='Hairald'] is a tough and hard nosed 5'10” guard that loves the soft touch finishing game, euro steps, and gets after it defensively.

Despite the loss Mt. Carmel 2027 small forward [player_tooltip player_id='2440187' first='Adam' last='McBrearty'] was fantastic carrying [program_tooltip program_id='2076378' first='Old' last='Gold'] all game long. The lefty 6'4” wing is a plus shooter with a smooth stroke. He also puts it on the deck using hesitation and shake to get in the lane for and-1s. We had him for 24 points in the loss.

Polonowski Scorches Nets for [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Select 17U

Lyons 2025 small forward [player_tooltip player_id='2442145' first='Ian' last='Polonowski'] is the younger brother of Nik Polonowski who was a recent D1 prospect from Illinois. He is very similar with his size, strength, and he is definitely a sniper from deep as he led his team to a 63-50 win against Big 3 Hudson. He had 26 points on the night including seven triples. Every time the ball left his hands you thought it was going in. Quick and consistent release with a high release.

2027 Big Man and Wing Breakout in M14 Adidas Gold 15U Victory

My favorite thing about my job is finding a high level prospect for the first time. We might have seen that in M14 Adidas Gold 15U's 61-37 win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown']. Kaneland 2027 6'8” five man [player_tooltip player_id='2391672' first='Jeffrey' last='Hassan'] jumped off the floor physically with his size and length. Started off with a finish in the pick/roll. Then got on the offensive boards for second chance points or was fouled. As the game went on he showed a drop step, fouled on another post move, and then put it on the deck throwing it in ala Dwight Howard in the dunk contest! It was eye popping! Plays with confidence, but you can tell he is still learning the game and is just going to keep getting better. He had 13 points. Also really liked what we saw from Waubonsie Valley 2027 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2425956' first='Perry' last='Tchiegne']. The 6'0” wing has a long and lanky frame where he is going to grow significantly more. Passes off a live dribble, fluid in the open floor scoring, and can hit an open jumper. Ton of projectability to forecast down the line! Went for 13 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2255121' first='David' last='Showman'] is another wing to keep tabs on. Got to the line and finished around the hoop. [player_tooltip player_id='2455373' first='Oturo' last='Redento'] is a 6'4” guard with some on ball potential down the line. Lanky frame played well on the defensive end. Upside prospect to track!

[program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'] was led by Hinsdale Central 5'9” point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2829863' first='Dominic' last='Walker']. Smooth operator at the point with scoop shots, pull ups from mid-range, and hit several threes.

Quick Hitters

Donell Foreman of Slam City 16U is a 2026 5'10” point guard from Rockford Boylan that is fun to watch. He can shoot it with range and plays off his defense taking steals and flying the other way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2413448' first='Nour' last='Mohammad'] of LVL 16U is another guard that caught our attention later in the day. The 5'9” guard from Amundsen is a lefty that can score on crafty layups using his handles to get in the paint for finish against taller defenders.
