Prep Hoops was able to catch the opening round game vs the Q6 All Stars Elite 2026 Doel (FL).<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1490037' first='Brandon' last='Ray']</strong> came out on fire with his play from the perimeter. Brandon connected on several jumpers and set the tone early. Fowler took a few charges on command when he wasn't getting the ball to open teammates all night long. Ross is a blue-collar type of guy of guy who just plays tough around the ball. He helped the Falcons get to the Class 3A State Championship Game before falling to Powdersville HS. Deron was playing all over the place today for his local [program_tooltip program_id='2412982' first='Upward' last='Stars Pee Dee'] squad. Ross handled the rock up the floor, showed his ability to drive and post up smaller defenders. The future still looks bright in the Upstate. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2396551' first='Bowen' last='Swofford']</strong> was able to show some swag with his play today in the backcourt. Bowen is a shifty guard who was able to get the ball into the paint and to the rim on numerous occasions here today. Mann HS wing <strong>Kamden Hack.</strong> Cooke helped Christ Church win a Class 1A State Championship this past season. Brannon is a big wing who looks to have a bright future as a Wren HS Hurricane. The Hurricanes have a few players to keep an eye on moving forward in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2147351' first='Malachi' last='Hamlet'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2384915' first='Ariel' last='Huell']</strong>. Hamblet connected on some tough shots today from the floor. He was able to finish at the rim through traffic by switching hands. He was able to play with his back to the basket and on an occasion showcased a short turnaround jumper. Ariel works for position down low on the block. Ariel attends Westwood HS.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>HYB Raptors Play Up and Down: </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2445000' first='Jordan' last='Crowder']</strong> was playing up a few age groups here for the HYB Raptors. Crowder a 6'0 guard from Central HS in Pageland held his own at times here this weekend with his squad. Crowder was able to drop some perimeter jumpers and score the ball from different parts of the floor. Look for him to be counted on moving forward in the Eagles plans starting next season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
