begins my list of standout 2027s. He was fantastic in the PG1 role for the War Eagles, running their offense to the tune of 7 assists. Rickey was especially impactful in transition as Gray Collegiate Academy pulled away in the second half, with multiple unselfish dishes and a pair of runout layups. Littlejohn consistently made the right play with the ball in his hands and beat defenders off the dribble with his speed, but he is also a capable spot-up shooter when the ball comes back his direction at the end of possessions.

. He has been running with Puma’s Team Ish this Spring and this was my first opportunity to watch them this season. Littlejohn had a strong 16-point, 4-assist performance in the loss to the Charlotte Aces. Rickey had the ball in his hands a lot, particularly down the stretch in regulation where he came up with multiple clutch buckets. Littlejohn’s game is built around his ability to penetrate a defense. He navigates traffic well, is fast with the ball, is a creative passer, and is a determined finisher.

. Rickey and the Gaffney Indians are in 5A Region 2 as well. He is a high-floor type of prospect because of his consistency night in and night out. He averaged 11.9 Points Per Game and 5.0 Assists Per Game last year in his second season on Varsity. Littlejohn balances scoring and facilitating well and has a good handle, speed, vision, and finishing. Rickey is a solid on-ball defender as well and is quick to force turnovers or rebound the ball to get his team out in transition.

Rickey had a couple of bright moments in Gaffney’s matchup with Pickens (GA) today at the Wofford Team Camp. He showcased his quickness on both ends of the floor, jetting past defenders with the ball on a string and making life difficult for his matchup with on-ball pressure. Littlejohn does a good job of recognizing driving lanes and will set them up 3 or 4 dribbles before anyone else sees them. He also displayed his ability to finish over long rim protectors with runners and floaters or around them with creative moves.

Littlejohn is truly a guard you can trust with the ball in his hands at all times. He is quick, smart, keeps his man in front, has a good handle, and can score the basketball. He does a nice job of getting downhill in both transition and half-court offenses. Rickey can finish with either hand and is very good at moving defenders with his eyes to set up a better shot for his teammate. In a matchup with Team Huncho on Sunday Morning, Rickey made play after play down the stretch to grab a key win.

Littlejohn III plays at an even keel at all times it seems and rarely turns the ball over. Rickey will touch the paint and get into the gaps when he wants to it seems. Littlejohn III has a nice mid-range game when it comes down to knocking down jumpers.
Rickey will push the ball in transition and really understands on how to race by defenders in the open floor.

Littlejohn III sees the floor very well and really has that next gear to explode to the cup. Rickey excels in the transition game with his ability to touch the paint and find the open man. He constantly makes himself available around the ball to make a play.
Rickey averaged 11.9 ppg and 5 rebounds for the Class 5A Indians (15-11) this season.
