. Kreger showed key development as the season progressed in 2023/24, earning minutes in 24/31 games and putting up 1.6 Points Per Game as the Patriots won the 3A State Championship. Colton was a stock riser in the most recent Prep Hoops SC 2027 Rankings because of his success playing up multiple age groups during the AAU season. He has good size for his age and is already a defender who Powdersville trusts. Kreger can knock down perimeter shots or get to the rim off the dribble. Colton recently took an unofficial visit to Wake Forest.

Kreger made the move from #41 to #24 this time around. He brings the Patriot a solid perimeter shooting at all times. Colton plays up on the Grassroots Circuit a couple of age divisions at times. He really shows to have good shot selection while on the floor and tends to be above average passer from the backcourt.

‘s development could have a major impact on the defending 3A State Champion’s quest for a repeat. I’ve really liked some of the steps he’s taken with
Next Level Elite
in the spring so it was important to see him back with his High School squad this weekend. He is a trusted defender with good size and mobility that was thrown onto Greenville’s #1 Option in Saturday’s game. He forced a couple of turnovers and got out into transition in the first half before starting to knock down his perimeter shots later in the game. He finished with 13 Points and 2 Steals, all 3 of his 3PM coming in the second half.

Kreger took over for a stretch in Next Level Elite 15U’s win over XLXB Saints. It began with him turning defense into offense early in the second half, causing havoc by jumping passing lanes leading to run-outs on the other end. Once he got in rhythm, the buckets started to come in the half-court offense as well. Colton does a great job of creating off the dribble – either for himself or for others. He scored or assisted on 10 straight points in that second half as NLE took control and went on to win comfortably.

Coming off a State Championship-winning campaign in his Freshman Year at Powdersville High School, Colton could be in for a strong Spring with Next Level Elite . Kreger has exciting size for a young wing. He is a consistent shooter already, but can also make plays when driven off the 3-point line. Colton will even make some highlight plays on the defensive end making him an all-around prospect to watch.
