Jaxson Davis Jaxson Davis 6'1" | PG Warren | 2027 IL ( Meanstreets ‘ last=”])
Dynamic performance out of Davis as the Warren point guard did a little bit of everything on Saturday morning. Early on he was looking to set up Thompson, Williams, and Kitt with his passing. Then he unleashed his scoring repertoire! Array of threes, spinning layups, slick takes off the bounce, transition finishes, and was excellent defensively in a 28 point outing in a win over Pro Skills on Saturday morning.
Davion Thompson Davion Thompson 6'2" | SG Bolingbrook | 2027 IL ( Meanstreets ‘ last=”])
Thompson is a two guard from Bolingbrook that can really put the ball in the hoop. Worked best out of the mid-range in their Saturday morning game with his pull up game along with taking defenders off the bounce. Such a slick handle in both the half court and transition getting to the cup. Much improved as a passer as well. He had 15 points vs Pro Skills Saturday morning. Then he took it to a whole different level on Sunday! In their 8 AM game against a pair of top 25 ranked national prospects for Florida Rebels he dropped 47 points in one of the most epic performances we have seen in a number of years. He was absolutely unstoppable. Scored from all three levels with such ease. Three ball was firing on all cylinders draining them one after another with his sweet lefty shot. Also mixed in several in the mid-range and was acrobatic finishing around the cup displaying excellent body control. Without question a top 25 player nationally.
Howard Williams Howard Williams 6'5" | SF Whitney Young | 2027 IL ( Meanstreets ‘ last=”])
Williams has been very good this spring. Playing the four for this Meanstreets ‘ last=”] squad he is more than comfortable using his athleticism and quickness getting on the offensive and defensive glass against taller opponents. Also like the toughness he brings defensively along with being able to stretch with his shooting which is becoming very consistent. He had 12 points in the game we saw Saturday morning. Continued that momentum including a massive 41 point outburst in their final game of the weekend. His ability to knock down shots on the regular is taking his game to another level!
Quinton Kitt Quinton Kitt 6'4" | SF East Peoria | 2027 IL ( Meanstreets ‘ last=”])
Kitt is the ultimate team first guy. Love him as a connector as the wing rebounder, defends, play makes with his passing, and can knock down open shots from the perimeter. Very efficient with everything he does scoring 10 points against Pro Skills. He was even better against the Florida Rebels showcasing his all-around game. Drained threes off the catch, hit baseline jumpers, and snatched rebounds. His excellent passing was also on display in the 11 point outing. Primed to debut in the top 5 in the 2027 class.
Devin Cleveland Devin Cleveland 6'2" | PG Kenwood | 2027 IL (Mac Irvin Fire)
Cleveland continues to prove he is among the premier prospects regardless of class in the state. He is a long and rangy shot maker that averaged 20 points a game over the weekend in his first EYBL experience. That included games of 25 points vs PG Elite and 33 points against Team Thad. In the game we evaluated his had 15 points against Expressions Elite. He is such an effortless scorer being able to score with ease from all three levels. Free and easy handle getting wherever he wants on the floor, finishes well at the rim, pushes in the open floor, and can knock down shots from all over both off the bounce as well as pulling up.
Michael Woods Michael Woods 6'1" | PG St. Francis De Sales | 2027 IL (Mac Irvin Fire)
Woods put his name on the map as a freshman at St. Francis de Sales as a smaller scoring lead guard. That is what we saw over the weekend. Quickness and tight handle often getting buckets in transition with euro steps and reverse layups. Best in the open floor and gets to the line. He had 10 points vs Expressions Elite and averaged 8.5 points a game for the weekend.
Damari Stephens Damari Stephens 6'3" | SG Kenwood | 2027 IL (Mac Irvin Fire)
Stephens is a big and physical wing from Kenwood that brings broad shoulders and strength on the wing. He is at his best getting in the paint with his power game finishing through contact. Good motor and pushes the ball in the open floor as a secondary ball handler. Scored 7 points in the game we saw against Expressions while averaging 11.5 points a game over the weekend.
Ed Williams (Mac Irvin Fire)
Williams is a guard from Lindblom who has emerged over the last few weeks. The scoring guard is a slick ball handler that can create on his own scoring from a number of areas on the floor. Averaged 12.5 points a game over the weekend including 14 points vs PG Elite and 19 points vs Team United. Could be the next go to weapon on the perimeter for Lindblom!
