Blaackar doesn’t get a ton of pub or put up big numbers because the Lloyd offense runs through EJ Walker EJ Walker 6’8″ | PF Lloyd Memorial | 2025 State #116 Nation KY . Thus far in AAU. Anthony has been getting downhill at will and even finishing with dunks in traffic at times. He still needs to improve his outside shooting but Blaackar is trending way up.
One person who doesn’t need to improve his outside shooting, Gilbert can get hot and shoot the cover off the ball. I watched Dawson make at least 6 threes last weekend and he did it in every way imaginable. Off the bounce, off a screen, catch and shoot, etc. If he can become a more effective finisher at the rim, schools will start calling.
Highlights
Completely off the grid heading into AAU, Coen is starting to make a name for himself with his length and shot blocking. Nate is young for the class and looks like he could get carded trying to get into a PG-13 movie but his game is improving every weekend and he could be an X factor for a Douglass squad that lacked size last season.
Highlights
Jonathan is one of the top PGs in the 26 class in the state and is confirming that status this AAU season and making a case to move back up the rankings. Moss is both quick and fast with a good first step and the ability to get into the paint and make good decisions for his team. A capable shooter, Jonathan should impress coaches when the live period comes around this month.
