Standing around 6’5 Miles has a good mixture of athleticism and skills that makes him productive. He came off the bench to provide valuable minutes on a good team. He’s off to a good start this Spring. Using his handles to the attack the rim from different angles. he’s a finisher in transition. He has some explosiveness going up for points in the paint and rebounds.
He’s a 5’8 spark plug of a guard. His leverage and strength, along with quality handles makes him hard to guard when he goes into attack mode, from the perimeter or in transition. He’s a good passing guard, plays under control, has shown patience up top running the team in half-court sets.
A versatile big guard with an improving skill set to play guard or wing. He’s an excellent defender using his lengthy arms and lateral movements to defend multiple positions. He fills lanes, has good ball handling and passing in transition. He’s showing he can use his dribble along the perimeter to get mid-range, and into the paint for jumpers, and layups..
He’s a combo guard with good ball handling and moves to get his shot up, he’s fast in the open court. He actively looks to put points on the boards, driving or pulling up for jumpers. He has a good 3pt shot he’ll make when left alone along the perimeter, he might use a dribble or two for an off the dribble 3ptr. He can run the offense up top.
This Spring, we first saw a good long arm defender with good foot speed to guard, and defend multiple positions along the perimeter, and up top. The next time he was more aggressive looking for his shot on offense, using good hops to finish around the rim, and making a couple of open 3’s.
Highlights
He’s been putting up good numbers this Spring at the 16U level. Strong inside play producing points and rebounding consistently. He’s a bit rough around the edges, with more skill development and foot work we could see his stock go up. He’s a good post passer, with strength to defend in the post.
A versatile prospect with a good set of guard skills. He’s a hard playing combo guard who can get his fair share of shots in a fast paced game. He has good control, a solid body and handles, for pull-up jumpers, drives for layups, and he’ll hit 3’s in transition and along the perimeter. He’s having a good Spring.
A fast and skilled guard from the Sacramento Area. He averaged 18.8pts per game and helped lead his team to the Division IV Semi-Finals. He can put points on the board in different ways using handles and speed to finish in the paint. He has range and balance to hit mid-range jumpers on the dime and 3’s when left alone. We’ll see more of him.
