He’s a long wiry type, probably still growing with a frame to fill. He has an improving skill set. He’s known to spot up looking to shoot 3’s. We’re seeing the jab step with two dribbles to get into his mid-range jump shot. He’s driving it to the rim getting through traffic. He has the size, body and movement to be a good defender and rebounder.

Martin was effected by the sit out rule. He played half the season averaged 10pts a game. He’s one of the better 3pt shooters in the 707, he has a good field goal percentage. He’s got sneaky hops, to finish above and around the rim. He has some defensive qualities.

A good size prospect with an improving overall skill set. He has the tools to effect the game on both sides of the ball. His lengthy arms, lateral movements make him a player who can defend multiple positions. He has the range to knock down 3’s on the catch and shoot, use curls to get open, and use a dribble or two to get closer.

At first glance we saw a good defender. Then we noticed the transfer from Fairfield looks to put up 3pt shots when the opportunity is there. He can drop a 3, in rhythm coming down court in transition, he squares up nicely in the corners, He’ll use a one dribble pull-up. He can use his dribble to get to the rim.

This Spring, we first saw a good long arm defender with good foot speed to guard, and defend multiple positions along the perimeter, and up top. The next time he was more aggressive looking for his shot on offense, using good hops to finish around the rim, and making a couple of open 3’s.
