He’s put in good work this Spring sharpening his point guard skills. In other setting, he’s an aggressive bucket seeker looking to drop 3’s. He’s still putting up shots, at 5’11 he’s finding that balance. He did well running the teams offense when we saw him last. Good decision making, patience up top, long passes up court. He hit the mid-range jumper. 110 to 100.

First we know Hargrave can put points on the board in different ways. He averaged 18pts a game with his high school team. What we saw in club basketball was a steady guard who doesn’t mind being a facilitator delivering quality passes to players who can put the ball in the basket. He showed quality handles, and patience up top. He had good shot selection knocking down mid-range, and 3ptrs. He could be a riser with more observation.

He’s a hard playing guard who gives good effort on the defensive side putting pressure on ball handlers early on. He has good handles, and foot speed to get the ball up court in a hurry, he’s a willing passer. He can be aggressive looking for his shots, handling contact on the drive. He knock down 3’s in rhythm.

He’s a combo guard with good ball handling and moves to get his shot up, he’s fast in the open court. He actively looks to put points on the boards, driving or pulling up for jumpers. He has a good 3pt shot he’ll make when left alone along the perimeter, he might use a dribble or two for an off the dribble 3ptr. He can run the offense up top.
