The 2025 class is loaded with talent and it will be on full display this travel season, not only in SWFL but across the entire state. Keep an eye on these prospects as they continue to grow their game and look to build their stock this offseason and into their final year of high school.
Clayton is a tremendous 2-way player who can score in bunches. He has good size and length from the point guard position, and loves to play the game with the ball in his hands. He has great handles and always plays the game under control and with a purpose. Clayton is an exceptional shooter who can knock down the 3-ball consistently, but can also find the bottom of the net with a quick pull-up jumper. He is a smart player who can control the game and makes everyone around him better. Clayton is a good-sized guard with an all-around skill set that will have coaches and scouts taking note of him throughout the summer.
Highlights
Jones is a long, athletic prospect who plays the game with a lot of energy and emotion. He has a certain swagger to him each time he takes the court, and you can tell he just loves the game. He’s an above-average rebounder on both ends of the floor and likes to jump the passing lanes, turning defense into offense. Jones has a long wingspan where he looks to get defections on defense, and is a tremendous transition player on both sides of the ball. He can score on every level and has great range on his 3-point shot, but also likes to get to the basket and play above the rim. He’s an exciting player to follow throughout the summer.
Highlights
Charlotte’s big man, is a great compliment to their strong guard play. Taylor is a 6’7″ prospect with great athleticism and a strong, solid frame. He is a skilled big with a soft touch that can beat you multiple ways. He’s a strong kid who can finish at the rim with both hands, and can also keep the defense honest with a nice little mid-range game. Taylor is a tremendous rebounder on both ends of the floor and his athleticism allows him to guard multiple positions on defense. He is great in the transition game where he likes to get out and run and play above the rim. Taylor will be fun to watch this summer as he builds on his game in hopes of making it back to the Final Four.
Gollopp is Lehigh’s Mr. Everything, as he fills the stat sheet night-in and night-out. He is a great two-way player who plays the game fast yet under control. He is a tremendous rebounder from the guard position and likes to push the ball and get out and run when possible. Gollopp can score from just about anywhere on the court but also does a great job moving the ball and getting his teammates involved. He has a smooth stroke from the outside, but it also quick at getting to the bucket, which makes him difficult to defend. Gollopp looks to make some noise this summer heading into his senior year.
Highlights
One of the most prolific scorers in the area, Williams, is looking to have big summer heading into his senior season. He is a quick, shifty guard who can score on all 3-levels. Williams has tremendous first step and a knack for getting into the lane and drawing fouls. He’s an exceptional free-throw shooter, and can stop on a dime and knock down his mid-range game at a very high rate. He has the ability to knock down the 3-ball anywhere behind-the-arc, and when he gets hot he can score in bunches. Williams is very active on defense and forces multiple turnovers each game. He is a true all-around player, who should continue to see his stock grow over the summer and into his senior campaign.
