Jackson was a mobile forward who stood right around 6’9, certainly one of the more intriguing defensive names at this event. Playing for New Mexico D1 , they competed against the best opponents in the building, showing upside as a defensive stalwart in the paint.
Greene is a gritty forward who looks to do the dirty work, at roughly 6’7 he is a physically imposing glue guy. Bringing a relentless motor on the glass, he is particularly active creating second chance opportunities and drawing contact on those putbacks. Defensively, he is a capable defender around the rim and has shown quickness defending quick backcourt opponents.

Kliewer brought value setting ball screens, actively creating openings to the rim as a roller. He has shown a greater willingness to space the floor off the catch, active contributing three point attempts when provided open space.

Jacob is a knockdown shooter who was among the most productive shotmakers in all of 4A this season. He remains one of the top guards left on the board, certainly a lights out scorer at the next level.

Otway was an athletic finisher around the rim, certainly worthy of collegiate buzz given his athletic talents above the rim. He threw down plenty of one-handed dunks in transition, quick to get out for a breakaway.
Johnson is another athletic guard who was arguably New Mexico D1 ‘s most impactful player at the 17U level. A skilled finisher in the paint, he does well to elevate and readjust when necessary versus contests. Outside the paint, particularly in the mid-range, he has great skill getting to off-balance jumpers with high efficiency.

A no-brainer for D3s, NAIA’s, and preferred walk-on spots at the Division 2 level, Riehl brings a winning pedigree unlike anyone else in Colorado’s 2024 class. Losing only two games in two seasons at the 5A level, his perimeter defense and three point shooting were on full display yet again from that event. Often at the point of attack against the best or one of the best opposing offensive creators, the guard took away space at the point of attack, forcing turnovers.

One of, if not the bounciest athlete at this event, Brown had a wide array of high flying dunks in transition. What was particularly impactful was the guard’s perimeter defense, lockdown at the point of attack versus 1 through 3. His notable strength and quickness in virtually every direction has made him one of the better defensive prospects into the state’s 2024 class.
