Our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings were updated on Wednesday, April 17th with a debut of our Top 15 prospects along with an expanded Watch List. We now have over 200 names in the database of what is shaping up to be a very talented, deep class. All rankings are difficult, and inherently subjective, but that can be especially true with the younger classes. That is why we cut off our initial ranking at just 15. Going much beyond that would have led to too much of a guessing game. However, we still want to give some additional shine to more prospects so here are eight "new names" to watch in the Class of 2027 that could burst onto the scene this spring and summer.

The 6'1u0022 guard should be able to parlay that valuable varsity experience into a big spring and summer. He handles the ball very well, has some physical strength for his age to finish around the basket, and is a great passer.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["2414963"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"This super athletic guard out of Fort Wayne South Side High School is immediately one we were not aware of before the season. However, Irby burst onto the scene averaging 9.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game for the Archers. Irby has some explosive driving ability in the open floor and rebounds very well from the lead guard position.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2414957"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Another Class of 2027 prospect that put up big numbers at the varsity level as a freshman, Mays put up 11.0 points per game for Marquette Catholic helping lead them to a Class 1A Regional Championship. The 5'9u0022 point guard is a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands and should have a great spring and summer.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["2140451"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"A big time shooter that connected on 51 three-point shots at a 35.2% clip as a freshman, the 6'1u0022 Page averaged 13.1 points per game at Sheridan High School. He was a consistent backup ball handler who would take some pressure off of the Golden Eagles' older playmakers that were more primary scoring options. Rogers did a great job of facilitating the basketball and was never overwhelmed by size or athleticism. Gained valuable experience.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["2414873"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Playing alongside the #2 prospect in Indiana's Class of 2027, White had an excellent season in his own right at Tindley High School. The 5'11u0022 playmaker averaged 8.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 3.3 steals per game while shooting 36.4% from three-point range.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["2414955"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Anytime you see a 6'10u0022 freshman you are going to be intrigued. Vandergriff is obviously a big presence around the basket that is just starting to scratch the surface of his talent. He will play this spring and summer on the 3SSB Circuit with Indiana Elite which should be big for his development. Just needs more time to continue growing into his body so his skill can flourish. Remember the name.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["2414872"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"Coach Jeff Teague has a good stable of young talent at Pike High School. Woods, a 5'8u0022 guard, played his way into consistent varsity action finishing the season averaging 3.6 points per game. He is very quick off of the bounce, displays good court vision, and can be pesky as an on-ball defender.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":8,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66215d36bdbaa"} /-->
