Martay Barnes Martay Barnes 6’2″ | PG Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy | 2027 State FL has special written all over him. The 6’2 lead guard is a high IQ playmaker with the speed and passing to take advantage of a defense. His quick first step turns him into a skilled downhill driver. His shiftiness and pace will make him one of the more exciting 15U prospects in the state.
There’s a case for Henry Robinson Jr. Henry Robinson Jr. 6’7″ | SF Matanzas | 2027 State FL to be the best prospect in Florida’s 2027 class. He’s a top notch athlete who stands 6’7 and competes every minute he’s on the floor. Robinson is a near double-double guy based on athletic tools alone. He has the potential to be a consistent three level scorer, versatile defender, and perimeter player who helps on the boards.
Highlights
It won’t be long before Oneal Delancy Oneal Delancy 6’3″ | CG Gibbs | 2027 State FL is seen as a prospect deserving of a national ranking. The 6’3 combo guard is an efficient scorer, a willing defender, and one of the best tough shoemakers in the state. Delancy plays like he’s watched high level guards his entire life. He possesses a crafty handle and layup package.
Jomar Bernard Jomar Bernard 6’7″ | SF The Villages | 2027 State FL may be the sleeper on the list, but one look will have coaches asking, “Who is that?”. Bernard is a 6’7 wing who flashed a versatile game throughout the season. He’s athletic with eye catching measurables, plays hard, and has shot making capabilities. Playing against his age group will allow him to put all his skills together while gaining the confidence he’ll need to improve on a solid freshman season.
Madden Geiger Madden Geiger 6’9″ | SF Calvary Christian | 2027 State FL is a 6’10 forward with a lights out jumper. His combination of size and shooting from 12 feet to the three point line will draw attention, and his rebounding will keep it. His curling will remain high as he develops his body and game. Interesting a long-term prospect who could be a player who protects the rim makes shots from deep and walks away with double-doubles.
