Keith Agran | Prep Hoops Scout
Doesn’t appear to have a ton of help on the Calvary roster, as a highly athletic Queens Grant team from NC blew past them. But I had seen Geiger three years ago as a riser, and he has fulfilled all that we all could see coming. Reminds me very much of Thomas Haugh from the Florida Gators, and if he can fashion his frame to match the muscular Haugh, he has more in his tool kit than the Gators star currently shows off. There is no offensive category that he cannot dominate in a game if he wishes. Be interesting to see where his varied offensive game takes him next fall.

Geiger’s upside is hard to ignore. At 6’9, he plays more like a guard than a traditional big, with the ability to stretch the floor from deep and score in the midrange. With seniors departing, he now steps into a leadership role at Calvary Christian as the program continues to rise. Already holding an offer from Alabama, Geiger is positioned for a big summer. If he continues to showcase his shooting ability and versatility at his size, more Division I offers will follow quickly.

The talented junior forward turned in his most productive season to date and appears to be playing his best basketball heading into the offseason. Geiger brings a unique blend of size, length, and offensive versatility, paired with a strong feel for the game that allows him to impact winning in multiple ways. He can stretch the floor beyond the arc with consistent perimeter shot-making, and he has made noticeable strides finishing efficiently around the rim through contact. As his confidence and consistency continue to grow, expect the junior to draw increased attention this spring and summer as a legitimate stock riser in his class.
