Bass-Bonner heads to Naples Classical after a quick stint with FBA last season, to join forces with his father who was just named the head coach at NCA. The 6’8″ 4-star prospect looks to lead a revamped NCA squad and make some noise in 2026-2027. He is one of the top players in the area, and effects the game in a number of ways. Bass-Bonner can defend any position, and offensively he can fill the stat sheet and score form anywhere on the court.

He scored 21 points in a tough loss to Gateway Charter, but had some highlight reel dunks where he showed off his athleticism. He handles the ball well for his size, is a capable shot maker with range, and can create offense for himself. Defensively, he has the strength and versatility to guard multiple positions, making him a well-rounded two-way prospect.

Bass-Bonner exploded onto the scene after arriving at FBA around the middle of this past season. The 6’8″ forward is an extremely talented prospect and is already garnering division I interest. He has the size and strength to beat you down low, but also has exceptional handles where he can beat you off the dribble and create his own shot. He is an excellent three-point shooter, and creates mismatches for opposing teams on both ends of the court.

The son of a NBA player, Bass-Bonner averaged 20 PPG this season and went over 1,000 career points in January. Holding offers from schools like Florida State and SLU, Bass-Bonner is a name to monitor going into this summer.

By way of Cardinal-Ritter (MO), Brock has introduced himself in the world of SWFL basketball, with continued outstanding performances. At 6’8, Bonner has elite size and agility capable of playing as both a wing or a guard. To complement his frame, Brock also has superb athleticism, continually making highlight plays at the rim both offensively and defensively. However, Bass-Bonner is not just a slasher, utilizing a high set point southpaw jumper that finds success both off the catch and bounce, making him a true three-level scorer.

The newly acquired weapon for FBA, Bonner, continued his impressive play from the regular season right into the postseason. The 6’8″ junior posted 2 double-doubles in district play, including a 26 point, 10 rebound outing in a win over Canterbury, and he also recorded 14 points and 11 rebounds in the District Championship over SJN. Bass-Bonner will be a key piece for the Lions who have their eyes set on their second-straight Final Four appearance.
