One of, if not the top prospect in the area, Bass-Bonner, made quite a splash in his first season here in SWFL. He is a high-level prospect with major upside, and already has amassed some D1 offers. Bass-Bonner can do a little bit of everything, and effects the game in a number of ways both offensively and defensively. He is a true 3-level scorer, where he likes to attack the basket and finish above the rim, but also has a great outside shot, where he shoots both the mid-range game and 3-ball at a very high rate.

A newcomer to the state, Bass-Bonner made an immediate impact at FBA, averaging over 20 points per game. He is a strong, physical wing who fills the stat sheet and impacts the game in multiple ways. He handles the ball well for his size, is a capable shot maker with range, and can create offense for himself. Defensively, he has the strength and versatility to guard multiple positions, making him a well-rounded two-way prospect.

Bass-Bonner exploded onto the scene after arriving at FBA around the middle of this past season. The 6’8″ forward is an extremely talented prospect and is already garnering division I interest. He has the size and strength to beat you down low, but also has exceptional handles where he can beat you off the dribble and create his own shot. He is an excellent three-point shooter, and creates mismatches for opposing teams on both ends of the court.

Our top ranked prospect not found on other websites, Bass-Bonner was a player who I watched with Brad Beal Elite at the 16 U level last summer and was really impressed with his shot-making and two-way ability. The son of a NBA player, Bass-Bonner averaged 20 PPG this season and went over 1,000 career points in January. Holding offers from schools like Florida State and SLU, Bass-Bonner is a name to monitor going into this summer.

Bass-Bonner continues his sizzling play since joining the Lions. The addition of the 6’8″ CG came at the perfect time for FBA and really upped their chances of making their second-straight Final Four. Bass-Bonner is a gifted athlete who was huge in the win over St. Stephens, where he finished with yet another double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

to their squad. By way of Cardinal-Ritter (MO), Brock has introduced himself in the world of SWFL basketball, with continued outstanding performances. At 6’8, Bonner has elite size and agility capable of playing as both a wing or a guard. To complement his frame, Brock also has superb athleticism, continually making highlight plays at the rim both offensively and defensively. However, Bass-Bonner is not just a slasher, utilizing a high set point southpaw jumper that finds success both off the catch and bounce, making him a true three-level scorer.

The newly acquired weapon for FBA, Bonner, continued his impressive play from the regular season right into the postseason. The 6’8″ junior posted 2 double-doubles in district play, including a 26 point, 10 rebound outing in a win over Canterbury, and he also recorded 14 points and 11 rebounds in the District Championship over SJN. Bass-Bonner will be a key piece for the Lions who have their eyes set on their second-straight Final Four appearance.

The new addition for the Lions, Bass-Bonner, shinned in this some of his first action with FBA. The 6’8″ junior scored a game-high 22 points en route to a 40 point win over Fort Myers. This 4-star prospect has a ton of talent and can score from anywhere on the court. His size and strength allow him to be a force down low, and he has tremendous leaping ability where he can finish high above the rim, but I was most impressed with his shot and touch from outside, which he shoots at a very high rate.

The 6’8″ combo forward is a newcomer to St. Louis, having moved from Atlanta during the summer, where he was an All-State player. His name is a familiar one as he is the son of former Vashon High and Saint Louis U star Anthony Bonner, who also played in the NBA. “Triple B” is a versatile talent who handles the ball well and shoots the 3-pointer. He is also an active rebounder and shot blocker.
