The Top-5
The lead guard is a bully while attacking the rim, effective dishing out contact or readjusting for mid-air finishes at rim. He commands plenty of gravity with the ball, drawing in defenders on drives, for plenty of kickout passes for shotmakers. His strong frame allows Sanders to defend 1 through 3 from opposing lineups, making him the more physically imposing guard in this class.
Leading Valor Christian to a title, Scherer remains one of the state’s best playmakers. An elite pick and roll playmaker, the guard has been excellent hitting rollers diving towards the rim or splitting a double. Also a timely shotmaker, he finds a way to hit big shots in momentum swinging situations.
While returning above half way through the season, Braketa showed the same perimeter shotmaking upside as past seasons. Going out in bang, the guard posted 24 points in their exit to Eaglecrest, alongside 8 for 8 from the free throw line.
One of the premier shotmakers in the state, when King is rolling there is just about nothing opponents can do to slow him down from distance. Continuing to gain strength and quickness of the first step, King has become even tougher to guard upon drives.
Eschmeyer remains a highly intriguing prospect, given his frame and perimeter skill. A capable shotmaker in the mid-range, the forward has great footwork, effective maximizing his space on shot attempts.

Graham remains one of the most intriguing guards in this class due to his combination of his skill and powerful athleticism. More than capable of throwing down poster dunks, there are few athletes in the state with his bounce. Out of the perimeter, his shooting ability has remained a consistent area of his offense, either from the catch or off a quick pull-up jumpers.
Praytor’s immediate impact as an efficient floor spacer and shot blocker have taken notice this season. Garnering an offer from MSU Denver, the big man has quickly progressed over the past 18 months. Continuing to improve as a passer out of the elbows and post, Praytor took advantage of his leadership opportunities with Liberty. With a very young group, Liberty is bound to make noise down in the Colorado Springs region, potentially the state playoffs.

A mobile athlete possessing a high motor and great defensive instincts, Thomason is a worthy prospect to follow after his leadership with Fruita Monument. Aiding the Western Slope program to a 25-1 record while contributing 18 points and 7 rebounds versus Eaglecrest, through his final game of the playoffs.

Following his second straight title victory, the guard is a pest on both ends of the floor. One of the premier three point shooters in the state, Riehl maintains consistent shooting multiple feet behind the arc. He is a quick twitch, high motor playmaker with a knack for making the right decision under chaotic circumstances. Going 54-6 over the last two seasons at Mesa Ridge, Riehl is among the winningest programs in the state.
