Braketa continues to find success on all three levels, as one of the most dependable perimeter shotmakers in the state. Hitting a volley of perimeter jumpers either off the catch or from pull-up attempts, he helped lead Ralston Valley to a successful weekend. Holding his own against some formidable rim protectors, he found ways to score through tight angles. Primed for a deep playoff run with Ralston Valley, this group appears to have the best collection of perimeter shooters of any program in the state.

The three level scoring guard comes off of a tremendous summer, proving to be a dependable three level scorer and lead guard who can run an offense. Garnering a couple offers from the Division 1 level along with a few notable RMAC offers, Braketa is primed for a resurgence this high school season. Bringing in a legitimate chance to compete for the state title, Ralston Valley will be a thorn in the side of so many other Denver metro programs.

Recently picking up an offer from North Dakota, Braketa is back at the number 2 spot with a slim margin, bringing potent shotmaking and dependable facilitating out of the perimeter. A relentless shotmaker, he has continued to stretch out his distance from pull-ups or a standstill. Still a dynamic ball handler who can change speeds or operate out of ball screens, he truly maximizes his shooting gravity to create the best looks for himself or teammates. Defensively, he is a quick decision maker while attacking the passing lanes or while leveraging his opportunities out of ball screens, proactive in those instances.

Braketa continues to get back to speed, at this point, looking like usual self. Quick changing speeds, with or without the ball, his supreme shotmaking was on full display at these team camps. Effective stepping into shots from off-ball actions or pulling up for secondary break three point attempts, although this is nothing new for the 2025 guard. Defensively, he fought to get around screens, effectively weaving around bigger forwards to take away space from his opponents.

Among the state’s most refined perimeter shotmakers, Braketa is elite on or off the ball. An exceptionally quick decision maker, the guard is adept rising up into jumpers through contests or off of movement. He often makes the defense pay in transition, adept at recognizing openings in the lane to contribute shot attempts through traffic. He has received plenty of acclaim through the start of this spring, just getting started with a productive summer.

A prolific scorer on or off the ball, Braketa’s skillset may be leveraged under a wide variety of circumstances. Bringing in plenty of interest throughout the region, the guard boasts offers from Colorado School of Mines, MSU Denver, Black Hills State, and Northern Colorado. There are few backcourt scorers in the state who work as hard off-ball, sprinting around flare and pindowns to gain an advantage. With quick feet, Braketa is an immediate threat off the catch, although he does a great job picking his spots for attempts off the bounce. Defensively, the guard possesses a high IQ, active and effective reading the opponent tendencies.
