Utilized as a backup frontcourt option with Ralston Valley, the 6’7 wing has been a serviceable option who provides size and some offensive upside for this group. Backing a few smaller opponents down low, Gatlin displayed soft touch on turnaround attempts skying above opponents. Recently securing an offer from Cornell College, Gatlin has shown he has the upside to compete at the next level.

Gatlin initially caught our eye over at Basalt multiple years ago, now he has a chance to make waves in the playoffs with Ralston Valley. The 6’6+ wing is a knockdown shooter from distance, capable of shooting it over incoming contests with ease. How he handles himself defending the paint and against switches will be essential in determining how many minutes he gets.

Gatlin routinely hit corner and wing threes off the catch, a knockdown shooter when given the space. Although in a lower usage role than his time at Basalt, the shooting guard still provides plenty of production within his role on Ralston Valley. Bringing a high release point on the shot, he contributed quite a few of his attempts versus fly bys or incoming contests by opponents.
