He’s made the jump to one of NorCal’s top point guards in the 2025 class. He led his team to a CIF State Championship. The playmaking guard can control the pace of the game. He has the necessary tools to lead a team at the next level. Handles, passing with vision, he can get his own bucket, and get others involved. He brings tenacity on defense.
He’s steadily worked his way up the rankings. He’s becoming that consistent go to guard who can use his skill set to get a bucket and make others around him better. He has speed along with slick handles and moves to create his shot opportunities. He can use his quickness to go by defenders, pull up on the dime, and drop a few step back 3’s . He’s a shot maker.
He’s not wasting anytime, after missing parts of the season with an injury. He took advantage of the time off to sharpen his overall guard skills. He’s bigger, stronger, and determined. He’s an excellent on ball defender. He’s knocking down mid-range, and paint jumpers with consistency. His 3pt shot is improved. He has court vision.
He’s been operating under our radar until recently. He’s shown himself to be a quality guard with handles, and the ability to effectively work from both guard positions. He’s fast with quality handles attacking the paint for kick-outs, dump-offs or getting his own buckets from around the perimeter. He has a paint, and mid-range jumper. He has the foot speed to stay on ball handlers.
Highlights
Thomas missed most of last season after having an excellent Freshman season. Coming into the season he was back inform helping lead his team to the CIF Regional Title Game. His consistent play down the stretch was key. He plays at a good pace probing and looking to make the extra pass, and right decision. He’ll hit mid-range jumpers off the dribble, floaters, and transition 3’s.
It seems he’s starting to put it all together. Standing 6’7 and understanding how to use his body in the post area he made the jump from passive to aggressive in the post, helping lead his team to a CIF State Title. He’s an active defender going after blocks, securing rebounds and being an aggressive defender. He’ll get points in the paint. He can hit the short jumper. He should have a good Spring
He showed his versatile skill set in the CIF State Title Game on the big stage. He surprised us all knocking down multiple 3’s in key stretches of the game. His solid body, court running with strong finishes at the rim puts him back on an upward path. He’s a good rebounder at 6’2 and a solid defender.
He has a good upside, square shoulders and continues to build his frame. He’s a good post defender with the body to stand his ground. He has improved his fundamental skill set. He’s an excellent passer. He has good movement looking to hit the short jumper, and score inside. He’s shown he can step out to hit an occasional 3ptr. He’s a good size target in the post area.
Highlights
He has a long wingspan with good foot speed for defending out on the perimeter. He receives and finishes around the rim after making cuts from different angles. He gets up court fast to fill lanes in transition going up high to finish with dunks at time. He has the range to knock down 3’s. He’ll use his quick jump to get rebounds for put back points, or lead the break sometimes.
Highlights
He’s a long wiry prospect, actively using his length to keep the ball live going after rebounds. He has the length and foot speed to defend from paint to the perimeter. He’s improved his touch around the rim finishing in traffic while going up strong inside. We saw the paint jumper, and a dribble to attack from the baseline. He’s a court runner.
