Britt Wright | Prep Hoops Scout
He’s become one of NorCal’s better forwards standing 6’7. He’s an experienced prospect ready to take his game to another level. He had a breakout season that ended with a dominant performance in the State Championship game. He’s continued into the Spring and Summer adding pieces to his overall game. Improved footwork, using a dribble or two, high post jumpers, and an occasional 3ptr.

It seems he’s starting to put it all together. Standing 6’7 and understanding how to use his body in the post area he made the jump from passive to aggressive in the post, helping lead his team to a CIF State Title. He’s an active defender going after blocks, securing rebounds and being an aggressive defender. He’ll get points in the paint. He can hit the short jumper. He should have a good Spring

Plettner had a break-out game, from the start the 6’7 Junior was aggressive, and actively going after rebounds, getting 3 blocks in the 1st qtr of action. He made aggressive moves when he had the ball in the paint finishing strong around the rim. His aggressive play on the defensive side of the ball, along with his newfound presence in the paint caused problems for the other team.

The 6’7 forward is improving as a prospect. He played up against quality competition, and players his size or taller. He’s got work to do, but he is giving good effort. He’s using his length and moving better in the post area going after rebounds, defending, and scoring. He’s a good passer, he stepped out and hit a few 3’s.
