Julian Gibbs Julian Gibbs 6'5" | SF Democracy Prep | 2025 State NV was a swiss army knife for Democracy Prep this season. His height and athleticism made him valuable on the defensive end and he cleaned the glass a bit too. While the Knights ran a majority of their offense through their guards, Gibbs still averaged 7.2 PPG and is a capable jump shooter.

He has a long wingspan with good foot speed for defending out on the perimeter. He receives and finishes around the rim after making cuts from different angles. He gets up court fast to fill lanes in transition going up high to finish with dunks at time. He has the range to knock down 3’s. He’ll use his quick jump to get rebounds for put back points, or lead the break sometimes.

He shows speed and quickness on the court. He’s long, wiry with an improving skill set. He’s hard to guard when he’s headed towards the rim in transition. He handles on the perimeter using his quick burst to get by, and get into the paint, handling contact. He can hit the short pull-up jumper. He’s kind of lengthy with good defensive play. He’ll help rebound.

Gibbs plays a good all around game with good speed and a growing skill set. At 6’3 helps with team rebounding. He handles and leads the transition break with good passing up court, or using his speed and a move to go coast to coast. He has the handles, and speed to get by defenders from the perimeter, and length and toughness to score inside.
