He’s coming off of a huge year at Clarke Central where he averaged 32.6 PPG. Rarely do you find a lead guard with Gillespie’s combination of power, athleticism, and shotmaking ability. He has the tools to be a great defender at the next level too. Gillespie will be playing with the Atlanta Xpress on the UAA circuit and his recruitment should take off sooner than later.
Highlights
Zach Bleshoy Zach Bleshoy 6’4″ | CG Pope | 2025 State GA makes another jump in the rankings after a terrific high school season and a big weekend at The Opening. Bleshoy continues to get bigger, faster, and stronger to the point now where he can physically dominate the game from the point guard spot. High-flying dunks have become routine for Bleshoy. Not only does he have the physical tools, he’s got the IQ and craftiness to create in the half-court. Bleshoy currently holds offers from Kennesaw State, Ohio, and Chattanooga.
Josh Dixon Josh Dixon 6’0″ | PG Milton | 2025 State #185 Nation GA ended the high school season on a high note, winning Region Tournament MVP and leading Milton to the Final 4. Dixon has a knack for scoring the basketball and he’s been doing it at the varsity level since he was a freshman. He’s able to stop and go on a dime and knows how to get to his spots. Dixon is so good from the 5-15 foot range with floaters and short pull-ups but his range from the outside can extend deep as well. Dixon’s offer list currently includes Hofstra, Presbyterian, Western Carolina, and Middle Tennessee State.
Luke Jack Luke Jack 6’6″ | PG Creekview | 2025 State GA possesses rare size for a point guard at 6’6 while also having a natural feel for the game and a polished skillset. His shotmaking ability has reached another level this year, effortlessly shooting over defenses now with accuracy. Jack will face some top guard prospects throughout the spring and if he can hold his own defensively, I think he’ll be a D1 player. When you pair Jack’s size and skillset with his 4.0 GPA, it makes for a package that should intrigue several Ivy Leagues and mid-majors.
It’s hard to find a player in Georgia with more buzz than Braden Moore Braden Moore 6’3″ | PG Lee County | 2025 State GA right now. He’s skyrocketed up boards in recent weeks after dominating the SH Report Showcase and making a statement at The Opening. Moore can do it all from the point guard spot. He can dissect defenses and create instant offense off the dribble, also gifted as a passer. Moore has the potential to blow up this spring with the Georgia Canes and he’ll a popular name during the live periods.
