The Oregon Ducks commit remains at the top spot having done everything you’d expect from the top player in the class so far this season. The 6-foot-3 guard is leading the number one ranked and state tournament favorite in scoring, showing a great balance of hitting outside jumpers as well as utilizing his still-improving athleticism and strength attacking the rim. An injury has sidelined him as of late but even as the team hasn’t skipped a beat, the hope is he will be back for the post-season.
Also ranked #258 nationally, Boe remains at number two while putting together an outstanding junior season. Everything at Mountainside runs through the hands of the 6-foot-3 guard as he’s fully shown he can run a team from the point, but the truth of the matter is that Boe is playing every position for the Mavericks. Especially with some injury woes, he’s been counted on to help with rebounding and defense and he’s delivered.
Information has been a little scant on Rosemary Anderson Prep as the squad hasn’t played any home games but from the clips we have seen and what we know about McCullough, his status as a top five player in the class continues. The 6-foot-4 guard has good length and athleticism and with his size and ability to handle and pass the basketball, he remains a Division I college prospect.
Similar to McCullough, our ability to see Anderson remains scant but we continue to remember what we saw during Rosemary Anderson Prep’s first official practice and with some other highlights online that Anderson should continue to be a top five ranked player. At 6-foot-6 with the strength to make plays inside and the versatility to play on the perimeter, the junior swingman is a D-I recruit.
Highlights
The scoring for the 6-foot-2 junior has been down a bit from past seasons but that’s because Atkins has 1) a couple of big-time scorers in Mason Bierbrauer Mason Bierbrauer 6’6″ | PF Barlow | 2025 State OR and Brayden Barron Brayden Barron 6’6″ | SF Barlow | 2025 State OR up front and 2) he’s also focused on facilitating from the lead guard spot. Games of five-plus assists are common for Atkins while he continues to be a guy who can seemingly get a bucket from anywhere whenever he wants.
