Information has been a little scant on Rosemary Anderson Prep as the squad hasn’t played any home games but from the clips we have seen and what we know about McCullough, his status as a top five player in the class continues. The 6-foot-4 guard has good length and athleticism and with his size and ability to handle and pass the basketball, he remains a Division I college prospect.

A newcomer to Oregon’s Class of 2025, McCullough jumps right into the top five as arguably the top college prospect on the Rosemary Anderson Prep. At 6-foot-5, the California native plays at the point and has tremendous ball-handling and passing ability for his size. We’ve seen him play in one scrimmage and in a practice and we noticed right away his ability to get to the basket and create for himself and others. Defensively, he shows great potential as well as a stopper with his length and quickness and while no scholarship offers are reported at this time, there’s no question in our minds he’s a high-level D-I recruit.

is a quick scoring point guard who thrives off his ability to beat defenders off the dribble. He uses the space that the fear of his quickness creates to shoot three’s confidently. McCullough is a great playmaker and particularly excels in the open court.

displayed a lot of aggressiveness attacking the basket and proved to be a tough matchup for defenders on Saturday against DreamVision 17U. McCullough showed an ability to shoot the three off the dribble and was a constant threat from beyond the arc. Ashton has a strong build and plays with a healthy competitive edge. He has the ability to attack going left or right, which makes him difficult to defend.
