Anthony Fortuna | Prep Hoops Scout
Tremayne Anderson was racking up stats on Saturday morning. He managed to gain inside position often and utilized his height advantage to shoot over defenders. Anderson also scored some transition points for his team and protected the basket on defense.

used some good footwork against ABC Prep, and was able to get around his defender for some nice finishes.
Anderson also chipped in 10 points and had 7 rebounds against a very big Oak Cliff frontcourt.

was at Las Vegas High School since the spring. He’s played with them a bit, most recently in the Fall Varsity League and at The Border League tournament. Although he was slated to be a starter, he has made the decision to play for Red Rock the rest of the season. It was a quick move for him, as he already played for them in Denver this past weekend. His shooting and size should help RR in the EIBC league that is filled with tall athletic players.

Is it fair to label Anderson a “Newcommer”? Regardless he is returning to the state to suit up for the Wildcats. The Swiss Army Knife has the skills to be a big time impact performer this season.

No coach in the state gets more out of their players than Jason Wilson at Las Vegas. This is good news for Anderson, and college coaches looking for skilled versatile bigs. The level may be unknown, but I can promise, he will be in demand as the year goes on, buy stock in the playmaking Point Forward now.

I’m so happy for Anderson. The skilled wing showed a ton of heart and toughness this weekend. He’s always been talented but it was his grit and willingness to sacrifice for his squad that was impressive. The 6’7 forward was first to the floor, cleaned the glass and was one of the top grab and go players from the event.

A skilled big man will always catch the attention of coaches and scouts. The 6’7 Anderson has the ability to handle out on the floor. He has good vison and should be one of the better playmakers at the 4 spot. If he can score the ball from the inside, Section 7 will provide the perfect opportunity for him to showcase his versatile offensive ability.

How can there not be excitement over the return of Anderson? The skilled forward gets a chance to shed the sleeper label. He’ll be running with a good Las Vegas Wildcat program during the viewing period.

As was mentioned in our previous preview, the 6’6 forward will be attending and playing for Las Vegas High School. His addition immediately makes the Wildcats a contender, and puts him in play to be one of the top overall newcomers in the State.

Similar to McCullough, our ability to see Anderson remains scant but we continue to remember what we saw during Rosemary Anderson Prep’s first official practice and with some other highlights online that Anderson should continue to be a top five ranked player. At 6-foot-6 with the strength to make plays inside and the versatility to play on the perimeter, the junior swingman is a D-I recruit.
