Instead of highlighting the Top 5 at each position, we will cover a few prospects to watch over the coming years.
While Warren Keel Jr. Warren Keel Jr. 5'11" | PG Bradford Christian Academy | 2026 State New E , Windston Legentus Windston Legentus 6'0" | PG Brimmer & May | 2026 State New E , Ty Tabales Ty Tabales 6'2" | CG New Hampton School | 2026 State New E , and Rokas Zilys Rokas Zilys 6'1" | CG Vermont Academy | 2026 State New E are some of the most well known guards in the region, the following five prospects are ones to watch this spring and summer:
Hunter-Coleman is a stocky, left-handed guard that is electric with the ball in his hands. The lead guard has a quick first step, is shifty off the bounce, and is capable of finishing through contact at the rim. His jumper has come a long way this season and he’s now proven to be a consistent threat from behind the arc. He’s a tough on ball defender that can really move his feet laterally and doesn’t back down from a challenge; he’s also an above average rebounder for his position.
Harris is another lead guard that has an impressive physical profile. He does a great job of creating offense in transition both for himself and his teammates. He shows good playmaking instincts; he’s hard to guard off the bounce and has good vision in the half-court. He can finish with either hand at the rim and has an assortment of finishing moves off the bounce. Defensively, he can guard both backcourt spots and has good instincts for jumping passing lanes.
A big-time shooter from behind the arc, Echevarria does a great job playing off screens or using his dribble to create space. He can score at all three levels, but right now is elite from behind the arc. He has a great feel for how to play in screen-and-roll actions, both as a scorer and as a decision maker. He can get into the paint off the bounce and finish over big defenders in the paint. Defensively, he does a great job keeping the ball out of the paint and has active hands to generate steals.
Highlights
Nimaka is a solid athlete that can play both spots in the backcourt. He does a great job using his length and athleticism to be disruptive defensively and is exceptionally gifted in the open court. He’s capable of making shots from the perimeter in catch-and-shoot situations and does a good job attacking bad closeouts to finish at the rim. He has signs of playmaking ability as he’s capable of getting into the paint off the bounce and does a good job of looking for his teammates in scoring positions.
Bergeron is an impressive shooter that has deep range on his jumper. He’s really good in catch-and-shoot situations, but also shows signs of shot making ability off the bounce. He has good positional size with above average length and defensively, showcases a high basketball IQ that leads to lots of steals and deflections. He’s heady with the ball in his hands and already an above average decision maker. As he continues to fill out and adds more to his off the bounce game, his ceiling should continue to climb.
