Bergeron is just a good player who does lots of things. The 6-foot-3 combo-guard can shoot the ball from three but really excels once he’s tasked with driving closeouts and making decisions in the paint. He’s a high-level processor who understands timing, angles, and space, and he’s an extremely effective playmaker as a result. Off the ball, the Cheshire senior cuts very hard and understands how to read screens and bodies. Bergeron is going to be awesome for his Cheshire squad because of his ability to play from all three levels and make great decisions with or without the ball. He should end up at the D3 level but will be a coach’s dream there.

Bergeron, a guard out of Lincoln High School in Rhode Island, has returned to the court this winter and once again proven to be one of the top players in the RIIL. He has good size for the guard position, is a proven winner, and does all the little things offensively that don’t show up in a box score. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands, can score it in the mid-range off the bounce, and is really good in catch and shoot situations from behind the arc. Defensively, he knows where to be in rotations and has the ability to guard any spot on the perimeter. Bergeron could be a really good late get for a Division III program, but he might also benefit from a post-graduate year as he continues to move further away from his injury.

Bergeron, a senior guard from Lincoln High School, has a chance to be one of the state’s top perimeter scorers this winter. Coming off of an injury, he’ll be looking to make his mark with his versatile offensive game. He played a big role on their championship team two years ago with his ability to score efficiently from multiple levels, showing some burst around the rim and the ability to knock down shots in bunches from behind the arc.
