Nimaka is one of the better athletes in the entire MIAA and dominated the handful of Malden Catholic games I watched this season. He might not have the stats to back up a second-team placement, but the eye test suggests that he was playing on a different level than most of his peers. The 6-foot-3 Wheaton commit is a high-flyer at the rim and does a great job taking contact in the air, so he’s effective in transition and on second-side attacks. Nimaka’s shooting stroke is also decent, and he has a motor that allows him to relentlessly attack the rim all game. Excited to see how he plays next season.

Nimaka is one of the most physically dominant players in the MIAA, and Malden Catholic’s first round matchup against Algonquin really showed that. The 6-foot-3 wing is a blur in transition but also has explosive hops at the hoop. He can finish through contact and with control off of two feet or one, and there’s simply nothing any of his opponents can do. Special athlete.

Was even more athletic and could handle the ball more efficiently than the first time I saw him play. A few highlights from his game tonight was his interior passing, high rip euro step finish layup and spin fadeaway paint touch finish. He was a bully at times and occasionally finished acrobatically. He was clutch at the end knocking two key free throws that would eventually take the final lead. I believe he is a D3 candidate but with continued work can be a D2 player.

Quick long lean athlete. Communicates on defense and disrupts a lot of passes and shots. He would be a terrific wide receiver as he caught fast ball after fast ball in the offense. He has great potential to get double doubles every night.

Nimaka is a solid athlete that can play both spots in the backcourt. He does a great job using his length and athleticism to be disruptive defensively and is exceptionally gifted in the open court. He’s capable of making shots from the perimeter in catch-and-shoot situations and does a good job attacking bad closeouts to finish at the rim. He has signs of playmaking ability as he’s capable of getting into the paint off the bounce and does a good job of looking for his teammates in scoring positions.
