Blue was absolutely phenomenal this weekend. He showed off his athleticism with some unbelievable finishes at the rim using both hands, and his handle in small spaces continues to impress me. His three-point shooting also continues to get significantly better; he's hitting shots off the dribble and looking extremely confident when it comes to getting good looks off even with heavy contests. Defensively, he blew up tons of Beaver's set plays on Saturday, including their DHO to ballscreen action that typically destroys opponents. He's a high IQ player on both ends and will probably fall somewhere in the D3-D2 range, but don't sleep on his scholarship potential if he keeps shooting and playing this way.

Dak impressed me this weekend with his improved strength, toughness, and decisions making. The 6-foot-4 forward is playing his second season in the NEPSAC for Tilton, and he looks more comfortable taking contact and playing through it on drives to the rim. He looks in better shape and just generally fresher on the court, and he's making quicker/more decisive and confident decisions. As of late, he has done a better job shooting the ball, too, which makes him a more well-rounded player on that end and a difficult matchup. Dak should start for Tilton as a rising junior and will be a key part of their attack.

Governor's Academy is going to be a lot better than last year, and Org's improvement is going to be a big reason why. The 6-foot-6 wing/forward looks stronger, more coordinated, and more skilled with the ball in his hands than he did a year ago. He had multiple impressive closeout attacks and looks more adept at finishing around the rim with both hands—he has good athleticism and does a good job seeking out contact and finishing through it. The rising senior also has a budding three-point shot that he knocked down at times this weekend, and he played extremely hard on both ends for all three games. D3 coaches should be intrigued.

I'm starting to see Dellasanta's game come together. The 6-foot-11 center is skinny and young, but he has a lot more skill that you think and is doing things he couldn't a year ago. His hands, coordination, and ability to take contact in the paint have improved considerably, and he has some ball-handling instincts that really surprised me on the perimeter—though he seems relatively loose with the ball, other bigs have a hard time taking it from him. He moves solidly for his size and does a good job utilizing his length in the triple threat and as a passer in the paint and from the post, especially with his ability to see over the defense. Dellasanta could be a late bloomer, but the sky's the limit for him once he fully puts it together, which he's in the process of doing.

White was lethal on Saturday. I watched him throughout a 10 minute stretch that he probably hit 4 threes, a couple mid range shots, and made play after play as a facilitator and pure point guard for his Wilbraham and Monson squad. Defensively, he lacks major size at 6-foot (on a good day), but he slides his feet extremely well and has awesome strength, so he holds his own on that end. White should be a key part of Wilbraham's backcourt this season and has gotten a lot better this last year.

Costello has been a big-time prospect in New England for years, but he looks to me like he's in the process of taking the next step in his game. He hasn't grown vertically for a bit, but he has gotten a lot stronger and tougher and totally bullied opponents in the paint all weekend for Rivers. Additionally, he shot the ball better than I've seen him shoot it in awhile and was efficient from all three levels, even off the dribble. He made little plays on the boards and with 50/50 balls, he scored the rock at will, and he guards all positions defensively because of his athleticism and strength. Costello has a chance to really cement his scholarship hopes this coming season for a young Rivers squad that should be a title threat.
