Thurs., February 29th…Reading at Cumberland Valley: This District 3-6A semifinal contest pits the defending District 3-6A champions (Reading) against the newly minted Mid-Penn Conference champions (Cumberland Valley). Reading’s quest to repeat as district champions will be spearheaded by the guard tandem of Yadiel Cruz and Nick Chapman Nick Chapman 5'10" | CG Reading | 2024 State PA . Reading’s three guard lineup also contains freshman sensation Jeremiah Camara. Supporting that trio is multi-skilled wing Weshly Rosario Weshly Rosario 5'10" | PG Reading | 2026 State PA . Cumberland Valley is led by lefty, point-forward prospect Nolan Buzalka Nolan Buzalka 6'3" | SF Cumberland Valley | 2025 State PA (2025) and slasher wing Patrick O’Brien Patrick O’Brien 6'2" | PF Cumberland Valley | 2026 State PA . For CV, you will also want to keep an eye on shooting guard JJ Lebo. Those three comprise a CV offense that is in constant t motion and thus difficult to slow down. Tipoff is at 7:00PM.
Thurs., February 29th…Chester at Lower Merion: This year’s District 1-6A title game features two of the most storied programs in SEPA. Chester boasts the senior trio of Dante Atkinson-Payne, Dominic Toy Dominic Toy 6'5" | PF Chester | 2024 State PA (UConn football commit) and Calvin Williams. Atkinson-Payne is a skilled three-level scoring machine. 6’5” athletes Toy and Williams provide interior and transition point production for Chester. The Harris twins (Daron and Jalen) provide a major spark off Chester’s bench. LM has racked up a 25-1 record and captured the Central League title behind a lineup of four guard prospects and power forward Jayden Robinson Jayden Robinson 6'5" | SF Lower Merion | 2024 State PA . Combo guard wing John Mobley John Mobley 6'2" | SG Lower Merion | 2024 State PA (15.6 ppg.), shooting guard Adam Herrenkohl (14.5 ppg.), combo guard Owen McCabe Owen McCabe 5'10" | CG Lower Merion | 2024 State PA (15 ppg.) and point guard Carson Kasmer (11.5 ppg.) combine to form a balanced perimeter attack that can get out in transition and drain threes. A great deal of that success is thanks to the efforts of shooting guard Ryan Mulroy Ryan Mulroy 6'3" | SF Upper Dublin | 2025 State PA , floor general Kobe Bazemore Kobe Bazemore 5'10" | PG Upper Dublin | 2026 State PA , point-forward Idris Rines Idris Rines 6'5" | SF Upper Dublin | 2025 State PA (6’4′, 200 lbs.) and wing Brady Fogle. Unionville (22-3) returns to the District 1-5A title game for the second straight year. This time they plan to go home with the district hardware. Senior returners Charlie Kammeier, James Anderson James Anderson 6'2" | CG Unionville | 2024 State PA , and Ryan Brown Ryan Brown 6'3" | CG Unionville | 2024 State PA as well as 2026 stretch-4 prospect James Brenner James Brenner 6'5" | SG Unionville | 2026 State PA will lead ‘Ville’s charge. Unionville’s Nick Diehl Nick Diehl 6'6" | SF Unionville | 2024 State PA (6’6”; SF) is an under the radar prospect to watch in this game. Tipoff is at 7:00PM.
Fri., March 1st…Devon Prep vs. Math, Civics & Sciences: Devon Prep point-forward Zane Conlan (17 ppg. & 8.7 rpg.) has been impressive all season and was recently names as a 2nd Team All-PCL selection. Running with Conlan is athletic small forward prospect Reece Craft Reece Craft 6'6" | SF Devon Prep | 2025 State PA (12 ppg. & 6 rpg.), scoring combo-guard Mason Thear Mason Thear 5'11" | CG Devon Prep | 2025 State PA (8 ppg.) and slasher wing Ben Costello Ben Costello 6'5" | SF Devon Prep | 2024 State PA (Washington College commit). The MCS lineup is no joke either. Sat., March 2nd…Archbishop Ryan vs. Imhotep Charter: Ryan will have to quickly recover from their dramatic PCL title game loss because the District 12-5A championship game awaits. Standout big man Thomas Sorber Thomas Sorber 6'9" | C Archbishop Ryan | 2024 State #58 Nation PA (PCL Co-MVP; Georgetown commit) and nationally ranked shooting guard Darren Williams Darren Williams 6'4" | SG Archbishop Ryan | 2024 State PA (FGCU) should be able to handle that challenge. Those two stars will get tremendous support from shooting guard Ryan Everett Ryan Everett 6'1" | SG Archbishop Ryan | 2024 State PA and wing Jaden Murray Jaden Murray 6'7" | PF Archbishop Ryan | 2024 State PA . Imhotep, the PPL champions, is led by electric combo guard Ahmad Nowell Ahmad Nowell 6'0" | PG Imhotep Charter | 2024 State #36 Nation PA (UConn commit). Nowell has posted several 30+ point games this season and is a candidate for Philly POY. 6’7” hybrid-forward Zaahir Muhammad-Gray Zaahir Muhammad-Gray 6'5" | SF Imhotep Charter | 2026 State PA has experienced his breakout season and now has the attention of college coaches.
