-Wilson is a name that is beginning to pick up steam locally and nationally as the sophomore guard has exceeded expectations at OLMC. A prolific shooter that is starting to hit shots off the bounce from all over the court, Wilson is showing his athleticism on rebounds and finishes in traffic. Defensively he has improved over the course of the season and has a chance to become a dynamic two-way talent.
11p 5r 3a 1s 1b vs Gerstell
-Harvey excelled in his role off the ball as a shooter and secondary playmaker against a Gerstell team with veteran guard play. Harvey has improved his ability to read the defense and is decisive with his movements before the catch. His shiftiness with the ball and handle will eventually lead to an improved driving ability that will make him a very well-rounded prospect

-Moultrie was really impactful as a driver and rebounder in this game, doing a great job of chipping down to help as an extra body to box out a really big front line for the Cougars. The sophomore guard uses his frame well to attack the top foot and get downhill to finish through contact. The combo guard shot 46% from the floor and did a much better job of forcing dribble pickups and getting defensive stops that fueled Spalding’s runs.

11p 3r 1a v MSJ
-Barrett’s offense gave the Cavaliers a much-needed spark towards the end of the first quarter, switching hands in midair to finish with the left in traffic then hitting a pull-up jumper after rejecting the ball screen. His on-ball and help defense have come a long way to be a consistent defensive stopper this season for Spalding, and his perimeter shooting and transition scoring were key to the 7-game win streak that the Cavaliers rode into the MIAA Playoffs

11p 4a 3r vs Sidwell
-Hill spent the afternoon breaking down his matchup to put constant pressure on the rim for Maret. The drives to the basket paid dividends in the 2H, with Hill finding shooters and dropping it off to the bigs for easy looks at the rim. The sophomore floor general leverages his quickness and center of gravity to probe the defense and get to his spots with ease. Bright future ahead.
5p 6r 2a 1s vs OLMC
-Carter served as a great table-setter for the Cavaliers, directing traffic and controlling pace pretty seamlessly from start to finish while also contributing on the glass in this one. Knocked down 2 of his 3 shot attempts and made the extra pass out of open looks to get his team the best look possible. He’s added more shot-making ability and some strength to his upper body this season, interested to see what he adds this summer leading into next season.
