Let's get to it.

Layton just got a lot scarier and if you haven't watched them play with a fully healthy roster you are missing out. They have a lot more balance to their team and they have 3 to 4 guys that can beat you in the clutch. Honestly the only team that can beat layton in the regular season is themselves. We head over to Utah County and Lehi is for real. [player_tooltip player_id='1057037' first='Cooper' last='Lewis'] is playing out of his mind. If he can get consistent help from [player_tooltip player_id='1164729' first='Easton' last='Hawkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1551349' first='Gabe' last='Cowan'] among others they will be tough to beat. Corner Canyon is making some moves now. [player_tooltip player_id='1190621' first='Noah' last='Bendinger'] is finally looking like himself again. [player_tooltip player_id='1877118' first='Isaac' last='Neibaur'] has been playing some big time two way basketball and [player_tooltip player_id='1190620' first='Bryton' last='Valdes'] knows where to put the ball. Hurry up and wait they are almost at full strength. Weber is playing the best team basketball I have seen them play in the past 4 years. This team could really make anyone nervous in state, especially the way [player_tooltip player_id='1548362' first='Malachi' last='Spencer'] and Hayden Schenck are playing. AF is loaded and if they can get their second win here soon they could easily be the last team standing. [player_tooltip player_id='1057050' first='Tiger' last='Cuff'] and Jared Shepherd have been the best combo in the backcourt for them right now. Herriman is ready to make a push and they are getting everything they can from Ike palmer. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='1278442' first='Carlo' last='Mulford'] to take it to another level here in region play. Davis has been up and down but when [player_tooltip player_id='1272410' first='Coleman' last='Atwater'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1534951' first='Zach' last='Fisher'] are on everyone else gets better looks at the basket. Bingham might be the most dangerous team in 6A because they have so many ways to beat you and their guard play is excellent with [player_tooltip player_id='1115964' first='Stockton' last='Tueller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1278436' first='Luke' last='West']. Lone Peak is another team that has the horses but needs more consistant play from everyone. [player_tooltip player_id='1146666' first='Chamberlain' last='Burgess'] seems to be turning the corner in his development. [player_tooltip player_id='1146663' first='Ike' last='Staley'] needs to stay healthy and that will help players around them get better looks. Riverton had a great pre-season, they just need to get things rolling here again in region play. Tate Allred has been such a good lead guard and so has Evan Barrett. [player_tooltip player_id='1551206' first='Ben' last='Barrus'] might need to take it up a notch here.

6A

#1 Layton

#2 Lehi

#3 Corner Canyon

#4 Weber

#5 American Fork

#6 Herriman

#7 Davis

#8 Bingham

#9 Lone Peak

#10 Riverton

5A

So much inconsistent play makes it hard to gauge who is legit and who isn't. Alta is lightyears away, bit the question is, have they peaked already? Sluggish win over West that was sloppy. [player_tooltip player_id='1057035' first='Ace' last='Reiser'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1298532' first='Jaxon' last='Johnson'] has been the best duo in the state in 5A. Highland has the team to beat anyone, can they get the right combinations out on the floor when they need stops, when they need to extend the leand and when they need to make a comeback. [player_tooltip player_id='1278450' first='Isaiah' last='Drisdom'] is as good as advertised and Geroge McConkie is showing flashes. The big time player that can make big plays right now seems to be [player_tooltip player_id='1066745' first='Sefa' last='Brown']. Like we said earlier they are deep. Orem has hit the next gear and [player_tooltip player_id='1164726' first='Jax' last='Allen'] is playing better. [player_tooltip player_id='1278444' first='Kai' last='Wesley'] is playing better and chance Dastrup is one consistent player on the team that does his thing. Olympus is very talented and they will be battle tested win or lose and they are always a team to fear when [player_tooltip player_id='1057034' first='Dutch' last='Dowdell'] and Jordan barnes are in the game and the funny thing is that they never sub out. Timpview is young and they are playing with no fear. [player_tooltip player_id='1278448' first='Dean' last='Rueckert'] is a dude out there. Bountiful is tough and [player_tooltip player_id='1231453' first='Carson' last='Smith'] has really blossomed this season. Brighton plays a scrappy style of play and [player_tooltip player_id='1115952' first='Nash' last='Matheson'] just knows how to find ways to win. Skyline has been playing well and [player_tooltip player_id='1459329' first='Landon' last='Shaw'] is they key to their wins. He is a bull down in the post. West Jordan might be in the worst region in 5A but they just keep winning. Springville has a shot to make a push here, they have some talent on the roster. [player_tooltip player_id='1278439' first='Jamyn' last='Sondrup'] is one of the best bigs in the state.

#1 Alta

#2 Highland

#3 Orem

#4 Olympus

#5 Timpview

#6 Bountiful

#7 Brighton

#8 Skyline

#9 West Jordan

#10 Springville

4A

Strength of schedule is the biggest thing that can help teams in 4A. Playing some cupcakes does nothing for you and that is why Dixie has always been ahead of the game. That is why Layton Christian has been ahead of the game. [player_tooltip player_id='1185179' first='Kyle' last='Lemke'] is the best back to the basket big in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1575685' first='Tyrin' last='Jones'] might be one of the most athletic wings in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='2301424' first='Chris' last='Cox'] might arguably be the best 3 man in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1115933' first='Quinton' last='Christman'] might be the toughest cover among some great PG's in 4A. These 4 teams are really good but they have company. [player_tooltip player_id='2311800' first='Jordan' last='Child'] has been excellent for Logan this year. [player_tooltip player_id='1115962' first='Nash' last='Schroeder'] is putting up great numbers for Pine View. [player_tooltip player_id='1115985' first='Conner' last='Fairbanks'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'] have been a great duo and are starting to play well. [player_tooltip player_id='1384536' first='Owen' last='Mackay'] and Owen Iloa are tough at Snow Canyon. [player_tooltip player_id='1235094' first='Jagger' last='Francom'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1392877' first='Carson' last='Cox'] are as tough a dup as they come. [player_tooltip player_id='1057039' first='Jared' last='Anderson'] is lights out at Green Canyon. 4A is going to be a blood bath.

#1 Dixie

#2 Layton Christian

#3 Cottonwood

#4 Murray

#5 Logan

#6 Pine View

#7 Mountain View

#8 Snow Canyon

#9 Ridgeline

#10 Green Canyon

3A

#1 South Summit

#2 Manti

#3 Ogden

#4 Richfield

#5 Canyon View

#6 Judge Memoerial

#7 Emery

#8 American Heritage

#9 Union

#10 Juab
