Jones has ascended so much from his freshman season. He just blew up this spring and summer on the 3SSB Circuit and he did it playing defense and being an active rim crasher on both ends of the ball. His motor in the open floor was really something else. He has a solid foundation with his current skill level as a scorer and defender and the best part of his game is that he will have time to develop at a historic program at UNLV.
UNLV is getting a kid that has not hit the ceiling in his development yet. Jones send off Shawn Marion type vibes for the older folks reading. He will have a fantastic year this high school season.

Jones was one of the first players in the class to make his commitment official as he is headed back to Las Vegas. He has roots there and this si a school that will allow him to grow and develop. Even though he is still slender he has put on some weight. He will be a relentless rim attacker and should rack up poster dunk after poster dunk.

Tyrin is a wing from Utah Prospects with tantalizing length. Listed at 6’9″ with a + wingspan, he makes plays on both ends simply because he can do stuff that others can’t. Whether it’s jumping a passing lane, impacting a shot, shooting over a defender, or finishing at the rim, he checks all the boxes for someone of his physical attributes. In a win over ETG Midwest where he put up 8 Points, 5 Rebounds, 1 Steal, and 1 Block, his team had a couple of interesting sets using him as a backdoor cutter to get him open lanes to the basket and they were effective.
