Expert Analysis
Hector Marquez | Prep Hoops Scout
Reiser was added to the team that he knows very well as this is his second stint with The Utah Prospects and he was able to contribute to help the team win the title. He was in during clutch time and was behind the monster poster that went viral by Ikenna Alioze as he got a tip that led to that monster play. That is what Ace Reiser does. Reiser is undersized but he is a D1 talent. He will reclass and defer his scholarship and return in two years after his LDS Mission. He is a player coaches cannot ignore.

Reiser was great at Alta as he was able to showcase his talents and picked up a lot of college interest. He will be great at CSI where he will likely play right away because he has the talent to make it happen. Shifty is the best way to describe the lead PG that can create for himself and others.

Reiser has that next level drive and although he did not get the win in the end you can see a lot of the qualities in a pG that you need at the next level. He gets in the lane, he finds shooters and he can create for himself and others. Clutch from deep and he has a really good step back and side step. Excited to see what he does at CSI.

Ace is on a tear and he has been one of the best creators in the state and there is nobody that will argue that. He can get to almost any spot he wants and he is a ready for anything you an throw at him. He keeps his composure and he is proving that he is a D1 PG. He is shooting better than ever from deep and you can tell that he is playing free and he is allowed to do his thing. Play making ability is off the charts.

While Ace has committed to play at College of Southern Idaho any D1 team in need of their next level PG has more to think about because he has the talent and the skills to play at that level. Ace has virtually getting to any place he wanted to on the floor this week at The Tarkanian and he continues to sharpen his outside shot. One of those players you hate to have to play against but live when he is on your team.

Ace finished with 19 points and 4 threes on Wednesday afternoon in Alta’s (UT) win over Arbor View (NV) 64-50. Reiser continued his strong showing this week as he moved the ball efficiently on offense, rarely turned it over, and spaced the floor effectively. He also is able to attack the basket confidently with either hand, using his quick first step to get into the paint to create offense either for himself or for others.
