Tristen Johnson Tristen Johnson C Alta | 2030 UT has been a known name in this class for a while, and his size and athletic ability are a big reason why. He’s a 6’6” athletic big who is currently working on transitioning into more of a 3-4 for his AAU team. I’m excited to watch him because of the skills he’s continuing to add to his game. He’s long, athletic, protects the rim, blocks shots, and does a great job helping defensively and rotating into gaps. Offensively, he can get downhill, finish strong, and has really good touch around the rim. With his athletic ability and the growth he’s showing in his game, Tristen is an easy choice for my top 10 players to watch.

Johnson made his presence felt around the basket with his rebounding and rim protection. He’s an active shot blocker who altered multiple shots in the paint while also showing soft touch finishing around the rim. He was a productive interior presence with good timing defensively. Tristen has a lot of upside as he will be entering high school in the fall.
