Having a big season as a 3-and-D wing for one of the top teams in the state, Taylor has established himself as an elite shooter. With his size, shooting ability and length, Taylor is what a lot of college programs are looking for from the wing position. I expect scholarship and JUCO programs to make Taylor a high priority as Lutheran East plays in a bunch of marquee events to allow college coaches to check out his talents.

Watters was a standout in the Midwest Basketball Club Fall League, helping his team win the championship. Watters has continued to grow each year and has the size and length to become an impact defensive player with development in the weight room at the college level. An elite shooter as well, few players can get hot from 3-point range as quickly as Watters can. I expect Watters to be a high priority small college recruit as we continue into January and February as playoff time inches closer and closer.

A prospect who gets more athletic each time I watch him and is playing with more confidence, Lantz is a prospect who will play his best basketball later in his college career. Trying to lead Shelby to a conference and district title, Lantz is a prospect to watch in northwest Ohio.
A prospect I watched early in the high school season, I already wrote about the big jump Jones took from his junior to senior season. Playing without injured Lake Erie commit Griffin Turay Griffin Turay 6’4″ | SF North Ridgeville | 2024 State OH has allowed Jones to step into the spotlight and really shine. Not many small college recruits at Jones’ size with his ball handling and passing talent. Jones is also putting up big numbers, he could be a steal for whatever program gets him next season.
I just watched Haywood a couple days ago as he’s helped turn Dublin Scioto around this season. One of the more athletic wings in central Ohio, Haywood is able to dunk it on a defenders head and also knock down an open shot. A prospect who played on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Haywood should be a priority small college recruit for schools around the area.
