Allen helped lead Fairview to their first district title win in school history this season as the Warriors defeated Cuyahoga Heights to advance to regional play. A very skilled guard, Allen can get to his spots off the bounce and is capable of scoring in the lane or pulling up off the dribble. The 2026 duo of Allen and Burke Lowry Burke Lowry 6’3″ | SF Fairview | 2026 OH are key building blocks for the Warriors program that has continued to rise under the leadership of Head Coach Ryan Barry. With Luke Howes gearing up for another season at Slippery Rock, Allen could be the next in line to play college basketball at the scholarship level with continued development in the gym and in the weight room.
I caught Ediger at the Midwest Basketball Club Fall League and again with Ashland high school in the winter. Named first team all conference as just a Sophomore, Ediger is able to play on or off the ball for the Arrows. Tough to stop attacking downhill, Ediger found a lot of success attacking with his left hand off the bounce and finishing on that side of the rim. Also a capable shooter from the outside, Ediger is very comfortable knocking down shots off the catch. Ashland has had a nice run of recent graduates at the guard position move on to the college level, Ediger has the talent to follow in the footsteps of guys like Luke Denbow and Eli White.
A nice complimentary piece on a Toledo Whitmer squad that made it to the state semifinals in Division I, Young was a player who seemed to get better as the year went on. I was really impressed with the perimeter defense of Young during their playoff run. I also think Young will eventually get the opportunity to showcase more of his offensive skill either as a Junior or a Senior. If Young stays patient and continues to impact the game defensively, he’ll make himself an attractive college prospect.
Another NW Ohio prospect who made a run to the state semifinals, Priddy was a good scorer for Lima Central Catholic this season. A shooting guard with a strong frame, Priddy was not afraid of contact and drew a lot of free throws in the two games I caught. Also playing with a lot of confidence as an outside shooter, Priddy is a volume shooter who could get hot in a hurry. I expect Priddy to be one of the best small school players in NW Ohio this season and could be a breakout star for Lima Central Catholic.
Highlights
A multi-sport stud for Margaretta, I caught Keller both during the high school playoffs and with the Ohio Buckets just last weekend. A strong guard, it’s no surprise that Keller is a standout on the gridiron with his toughness and ability to play through contact. Able to set the table offensively as a lead guard, Keller isn’t afraid to muck it up defensively as well. Margaretta is projected to be one of the top small town public schools in the state next season thanks to Keller, Julian Washington Julian Washington 6’4″ | CG Margaretta | 2026 State OH and a couple returning 2027 pieces from a regional finalist squad.
