A prospect I watched early in the high school season, I already wrote about the big jump Jones took from his junior to senior season. Playing without injured Lake Erie commit Griffin Turay Griffin Turay 6'4" | SF North Ridgeville | 2024 State OH has allowed Jones to step into the spotlight and really shine. Not many small college recruits at Jones’ size with his ball handling and passing talent. Jones is also putting up big numbers, he could be a steal for whatever program gets him next season.

North Ridgeville is a little banged up without stud Griffin Turay Griffin Turay 6'4" | SF North Ridgeville | 2024 State OH out with an ankle injury, but Jones stepped up in his absence on Tuesday night to lead them to a key non-conference victory. Jones can finish at the rim with both hands as he used crossovers and euro-step finishes to score in the paint. I also felt like Jones grew an inch since I last saw him in March and has the length to be an impact defender at the next level. If the perimeter shot comes around for Jones, he could make an impact at the scholarship level or be a stud at the Division III level.

An intriguing wing, I caught Jones for the first time during the playoffs as North Ridgeville won a sectional title beating Cleveland Rhodes in an intense battle. Jones has good length at 6’5 and made some plays off the bounce. His wingspan suggests there could be some defensive upside as you’ll see him get blocks or steals often. I was also impressed with the passing ability of Jones off the bounce. Check Jones out with Outwork Basketball this spring and summer, a potential late bloomer for a small college program to develop.
