I’ve shown a lot of love to the Hoop Tech 17 U team with this rankings update and for good reason, they’ve got a couple potential scholarship targets and a handful of Division III recruits that should compete for minutes at the college level. Rowe is a talented scoring guard who had some monster scoring games Vs quality competition this spring. A natural bucket getter, Rowe has impressive change of pace on the ball and can hit contested perimeter shots. During the winter, Rowe scored 15 PPG shooting 54% from 2-point range and 37% from 3-point range.

Without a doubt, Luke Rowe Luke Rowe 6'1" | SG/PG North Ridgeville | 2027 State OH my favorite non-Michigan prospect from the weekend. I found him to be deceptively quick with a solid handle of the basketball. His go-to move is a quick crossover that gets him by his defender a majority of the time. Rowe can already fill-it-up from the college 3-point line, making numerous deep attempts in the game I saw. An overall efficient player who doesn’t force anything, I will for sure be monitoring Luke’s basketball journey from here up north.

The SWC has more basketball talent this season than it has in a handful of years with Olmsted Falls, Elyria and Berea-Midpark all tied atop the conference standings. North Ridgeville is a couple games behind those teams and they have a lot of talent as well. Rowe is a quick guard who does a nice job of changing direction off the dribble when he’s attacking. Quick crossover moves and impressive burst allow him to create from the triple threat and attack closeouts. Rowe was a prospect who attended our freshman showcase prior to playing a high school game and impressed at that event, when I got to see him this winter I was impressed by his physical development as an athlete over the years and significant improvement to earn a spot in our rankings.
