<p>Myers Park remains at the top of the NCHSAA 4A Power Rankings with victories over Northwood and Olympic High since the release of the first edition. They've got a big game tonight against [player_tooltip player_id='1076364' first='Peter' last='Moye'] and South Mecklenburg.</p>

<p>The Gators continue to put together a historic season as they remain unbeaten at 15-0 and they're unbeaten in SWAC play as well at 5-0. They'll look to keep things going against Middle Creek tonight.</p>

They're a well-rounded group with the potential to run the tables in the Greater Metro Conference.</p>

<p>Weddington High remains steady at No. 5 as they get Southern Carolina Conference play underway over the next few weeks. [player_tooltip player_id='2292116' first='KJ' last='Younger'] remains a junior name to know with them as he's producing 22.5 PPG and 8.0 RPG in the backcourt. [player_tooltip player_id='1890476' first='Grant' last='Hamilton'] is a top shooter in the 2024 class as well.</p>

<p>The War Eagles remain unbeaten at 14-0 and continue to climb up the power rankings as they move to No. 6. They're 4-0 in Central Piedmont Conference play and have quite the team chemistry building in the 4A West. They've got the potential to make a deep run in the state playoffs if their core of [player_tooltip player_id='1892439' first='Jackson' last='Powers'], [player_tooltip player_id='2319820' first='Bryson' last='Mickey'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2319830' first='Coleman' last='Lawhon'] remains successful. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1864068' first='Paul' last='McNeil'] remains a top scorer in the state after breaking the NCHSAA single-game scoring record with 71 points against Lee County High. Given his knack for scoring the ball and their complementary pieces in [player_tooltip player_id='1163509' first='Javian' last='Drake'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1154822' first='Jamarion' last='Wall']. They'll be back in action against Scotland on Tuesday as all eyes will be on McNeil to do more.</p>

<p>The Titans are a new addition in the latest edition of NCHSAA 4A Power Rankings as they enter on a 6-game winning streak and are 5-0 in Central Piedmont Conference action. [player_tooltip player_id='1409584' first='Jacari' last='Brim'] has done well to lead their backcourt while they've gotten contributions from a number of players in their rotation. They're a squad to keep an eye on in the CPC.</p>

<p>The Vikings took a loss to Camden High at the Spalding Hoophall Classic but they're still in good shape in the NCHSAA 4A Power Rankings as they check in at No. 9. [player_tooltip player_id='1409583' first='Chadlyn' last='Traylor'] looks prime to turn a corner as [player_tooltip player_id='1154560' first='Isaiah' last='Evans'] paces the offensive attack on the wing. They'll face West Charlotte on the road in Queen City Conference play tonight. </p>

<p>The Sabres are a team to keep an eye on in the South Meck Conference and another new addition to the 4A Power Rankings as they boast a 14-1 record and are currently unbeaten in conference play at 3-0. Unsigned senior [player_tooltip player_id='1076364' first='Peter' last='Moye'] (21.7 PPG) is playing some of his best basketball while [player_tooltip player_id='2280463' first='Anderson' last='Skelton'] has shown he can be a defensive presence as well. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2055671' first='Ben' last='Houpt'] is a name to watch with them as well.</p>
