He moves from No. 232 into the 102nd spot in the final rankings update as he looks to continue his surge in the NCHSAA 4A Playoffs this Friday in the Elite Eight against Green Level. He’s produced 16.5 PPG, 4.2 RPG and 2.7 SPG to go along with his 4.7 APG to push the Raiders into the Elite Eight of the NCHSAA 4A State Playoffs this season. He’s shooting 43 percent from deep on the year at the point guard spot, knocking down 66 3-pointers and dishing out 4.7 APG, just second to NC State commit

The general for the Richmond County squad, he brings the intensity, toughness and IQ that you need from a Point Guard. His team got off to a slower start, but he was one of the reasons why they were able to make a huge comeback, due to his ability to force turnovers and get out into transition.

Drake showed off sound decision-making with the ball in his hands at the floor general spot. He’s a strong-framed prospect that DII programs need to get eyes on given his ability to get paint touches and operate in traffic regardless of who’s around him size-wise. He finished with 18 points, three steals, three rebounds and two assists in the victory.

The toughness of this young man was on full display in their matchup with Millbrook as he dominated on both ends of the floor. He defended at a very high level and scored the ball with efficiency but what really impressed us was how well he got his teammates involved with his ability to facilitate.
