1. Myers Park (14-2)

Myers Park remains at the top of the NCHSAA 4A Power Rankings with victories over Northwood and Olympic High since the release of the first edition. Sadiq White Jr Sadiq White Jr 6'8" | SF Myers Park | 2025 State #56 Nation NC continues to assert himself around the rim while the guards have shown they can hold their own on the perimeter. They’ve got a big game tonight against Peter Moye Peter Moye 6'3" | SG South Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC and South Mecklenburg.
2. New Hanover (13-0)
Last rank: 2nd
The Wildcats remain unbeaten as Rodmik Allen Rodmik Allen 5'10" | PG New Hanover | 2025 State NC has them playing their best brand of basketball. As CJ Kornegay CJ Kornegay 6'5" | SF New Hanover | 2025 State NC gets healthy, they’re a scary group They’ll face Hoggard tonight in Mideastern Conference action.
3. Green Level (15-0)

The Gators continue to put together a historic season as they remain unbeaten at 15-0 and they’re unbeaten in SWAC play as well at 5-0. Isaac Ericksen Isaac Ericksen 6'8" | SF Green Level | 2025 State NC , Israel Eatman Israel Eatman 6'4" | CG Green Level | 2025 State NC and Leon Tye Cain III Leon Tye Cain III 5'10" | PG Green Level | 2024 State NC have been a burden to deal with. They’ll look to keep things going against Middle Creek tonight.
4. Lake Norman (13-1)

Santana Lynch Santana Lynch 6'4" | SG Lake Norman | 2024 State NC and Trent Steinour Trent Steinour 6'10" | C Lake Norman | 2025 State #140 Nation NC continue to play strong for the Wildcats while 2026 Nick Arnold Nick Arnold 5'11" | PG Lake Norman | 2026 State NC comes on strong at the PG spot. They’re a well-rounded group with the potential to run the tables in the Greater Metro Conference.
5. Weddington (14-1)
Last rank: 5th
Weddington High remains steady at No. 5 as they get Southern Carolina Conference play underway over the next few weeks. Kenneth Dwayne Younger Kenneth Dwayne Younger 6'4" | SF Weddington | 2025 NC remains a junior name to know with them as he’s producing 22.5 PPG and 8.0 RPG in the backcourt. Grant Hamilton Grant Hamilton 6'2" | CG Weddington | 2024 State NC is a top shooter in the 2024 class as well.
6. Davie (14-0)
Last rank: 7th
The War Eagles remain unbeaten at 14-0 and continue to climb up the power rankings as they move to No. 6. They’re 4-0 in Central Piedmont Conference play and have quite the team chemistry building in the 4A West. They’ve got the potential to make a deep run in the state playoffs if their core of Jackson Powers Jackson Powers 6'6" | PF Davie | 2025 State NC , Bryson Mickey Bryson Mickey 6'0" | CG Davie | 2025 NC and Coleman Lawhon Coleman Lawhon 6'1" | CG Davie | 2024 State NC remains successful.
7. Richmond County (12-5)
Last rank: 8th
Paul McNeil remains a top scorer in the state after breaking the NCHSAA single-game scoring record with 71 points against Lee County High. Given his knack for scoring the ball and their complementary pieces in Javian Drake Javian Drake 5'10" | PG Richmond Senior | 2024 State NC and Jamarion Wall Jamarion Wall 5'11" | PG Richmond County Senior | 2024 State NC . They’ll be back in action against Scotland on Tuesday as all eyes will be on McNeil to do more.
8. West Forsyth (13-2)
The Titans are a new addition in the latest edition of NCHSAA 4A Power Rankings as they enter on a 6-game winning streak and are 5-0 in Central Piedmont Conference action. Jacari Brim Jacari Brim 6'2" | PG West Forsyth | 2025 State NC has done well to lead their backcourt while they’ve gotten contributions from a number of players in their rotation. They’re a squad to keep an eye on in the CPC.
9. North Mecklenburg (13-3)
Last rank: 6th
The Vikings took a loss to Camden High at the Spalding Hoophall Classic but they’re still in good shape in the NCHSAA 4A Power Rankings as they check in at No. 9. Chadlyn Traylor Chadlyn Traylor 6'3" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2025 State #384 Nation NC looks prime to turn a corner as Isaiah Evans Isaiah Evans 6'6" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State #17 Nation NC paces the offensive attack on the wing. They’ll face West Charlotte on the road in Queen City Conference play tonight.
10. South Mecklenburg (14-1)
The Sabres are a team to keep an eye on in the South Meck Conference and another new addition to the 4A Power Rankings as they boast a 14-1 record and are currently unbeaten in conference play at 3-0. Unsigned senior Peter Moye Peter Moye 6'3" | SG South Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC (21.7 PPG) is playing some of his best basketball while Anderson Skelton Anderson Skelton 6'4" | CG South Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC has shown he can be a defensive presence as well. Sophomore Ben Houpt Ben Houpt 6'4" | SG South Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC is a name to watch with them as well.
