2023-2024 Stats: 21.3 PPG, 5.5 RPG & 6.2 APGrnThe 5-10 sophomore guard has a reliable jump shot where he can score at all three levels on the offensive end. Tipton is your traditional point-guard who is a pass-first guard who can get his teammates involved whether it’s off the bounce or the catch. Tipton has a natural court-vision where he hits his teammates in stride where they can finish around the rim. Defensively, Tipton has sneaky athleticism where he rebounds exceptionally well from the guard position and can dictate the pace of the game. Look for Tipton’s recruitment stock to start piling up as college coaches need to get on his radar this spring.
Highlights
2023-2024 Stats: 18.3 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 2.4 APG & 2.8 SPGrnThe 6-0 sophomore guard is really smart and plays under control where his maturity is advanced for his age. Newson is at his absolute best when he gets his teammates involved with his crisp-passing ability as well as when he gets to the rim. He is an emerging player who is shining right before our eyes on the defensive end as well where he has a strong nose for the basketball, as well as very energetic in the passing lanes. Newson checks all the boxes for a guard as he can score on all three levels, rebounds well and facilitates to his teammates on the offensive end.
Highlights
Ethan Sabec
Ethan Sabec
2023-2024 Stats: 17.5 PPG, 7.7 RPG & 2.1 APGrnThe 6-6 sophomore wing is a perennial offensive threat who can score in a variety of ways whether it’s off the catch or the bounce. Sabec has also gained consistency when it comes to scoring at the front of the rim as his footwork continues to improve offensively. Defensively, Sabec is an elite matchup nightmare where he can guard positions 1 through 4 with his length and can challenge shots whether it’s at the front of the rim or out on the perimeter. Sabec continues to provide a huge upside as the next two and a half years will be intriguing to watch to see where his recruitment goes.
Jeremiah Cooper
Jeremiah Cooper
2023-2024 Stats: 14.9 PPG, 1.7 RPG, 2.1 APG & 2.2 SPGrnThe 5-11 sophomore guard is a dangerous threat when it comes to shooting from beyond the arc. Cooper can score off the catch or bounce at a high level as his upside continues to grow. Cooper is a unique player with a ton of quickness on the floor where he gets to his spots and is very confident in his offensive game. Defensively, his rebounding mechanics are still developing as his athleticism allows him to leak out where he can get steals to turn his defense into offense. Keep an eye on Cooper’s two-way game as he continues to improve his versatility where he can make a huge impact as his high school career progresses.
2023-2024 Stats: 14.7 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 7.1 APG & 3.7 SPGrnThe 6-5 sophomore forward plays with a lot of length and toughness on both ends of the floor. He is a respectable and highly-skilled three-level scoring threat along with a solid driver and finisher at the front of the rim. He does a great job at finding his teammates while using his court vision and ball-handling skills. Brutus is also a solid defender where he can guard multiple positions whether it’s challenging perimeter shooters or defending the rim. Brutus also has a strong knack when it comes to jumping the passing lanes as he makes tips which can cause him to get buckets on the other end. He currently holds an offer from Jacksonville University, but don’t expect that to be his last offer as he’s climbing the ladder in the prospect rankings for the sophomore class.
