<p>The new Prep Hoops rankings for the class of 2025 were released Wednesday to the public. With any release, there are a ton of additions and movement to the rankings and the top ten was no exception. In this PHLA exclusive, we will look at the new top ten in the 2025 class.</p>

<p><strong>1. [player_tooltip player_id='1347267' first='Drew' last='Timmons']</strong> - The best three level scorer in the state. He has guard skills in a 6'5" body which makes him a threat whenever he catches the ball</p>

<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p><strong>2. [player_tooltip player_id='1593728' first='Christopher' last='Cenac']</strong> - A walking double-double when he is on the floor. His ability to make the mid-range shot makes him ultra dangerous; has top player talent</p>

<p><strong>3. [player_tooltip player_id='1358460' first='Christopher' last='Birden']</strong> - An electric wing that knows how to score in transition. Improved three point range makes him a threat in the half court as well</p>

<p><strong>4. [player_tooltip player_id='1347265' first='Jeremiah' last='Lucas'] </strong>- Probably the premier shooter in his class. He has NBA and can put the ball on the deck; a very dangerous combination</p>

<p><strong>5. [player_tooltip player_id='1347283' first='Garrett' last='Shoemaker'] - </strong>A scoring machine inside the paint and out. He may be the best player in the Louisiana-Mississippi private school league</p>

<p><strong>6. [player_tooltip player_id='1347180' first='Xavier' last='Ferguson'] -</strong> Combo guard who is also an elite finisher at the rim. When he is on from behind the arc, he is practically unguardable. </p>

<p><strong>7. [player_tooltip player_id='1285330' first='Antron' last='Mason II'] - </strong>Probably the premier scoring point guard in the state. His ability to pass the ball as well as score keeps defenders off balance.</p>

<p><strong>8. [player_tooltip player_id='1394530' first='Daijon' last='Leatherman'] -</strong> Best scoring big man with his back to the basket. He is a relentless rebounder and the best post/paint defender in the Boot </p>

<p><strong>9. [player_tooltip player_id='1492966' first='Lantavious' last='Murphy'] - </strong>When it comes to an all-around game, there is no player better in Louisiana. His ability to facilitate, rebound, and score makes him a tough guard</p>

<p><strong>10. [player_tooltip player_id='1601451' first='Kobe' last='Butler'] - </strong>A defensive specialist who is rounding into shape offensively. His ability to rebound and run the floor makes him very unique</p>

<p>These players represent various parts of the state. The talent in Louisiana is very good and this top ten group is no exception. This is a group that has a ton of upside when it comes to potentially playing on the next level. </p>
