His basketball IQ is also off the charts which makes him a player who can play virtually anywhere and thrive. Murphy will be a player who can enhance any program he joins on the next level.

Murphy has played as a combo guard since he stepped foot in the Rayville varsity lineup. He has more experience facilitating an offense than a lot of lead guards in the state. At his height, Lantavious can do a lot of things smaller guards have trouble doing. While he plays multiple roles for the Hornets office, he is most valuable when he is being the lead facilitator on offense.

Murphy is the best all-around basketball player we have in the state. His willingness to do whatever his team needs to be successful makes him the player he is. Murphy can play point guard, on the wing, or in the paint. His strength allows him to post smaller players while taking taller forwards off the dribble. Lantavious makes his team better. They do not make players with his versatility anymore.
